First timers here. I’ll list the pros and the cons. Starting with the pros •sites were labeled nicely so they were able to find. •bathroom was clean. My husband said it was one of the cleanest bathrooms he’s been in while camping. •the bounce pad was a blast. I haven’t laughed that hard in a very long time nor have I stepped foot on a trampoline in 15 years! • so much to do! There was shuffle boards, horseshoes, Gaga ball, etc to keep kids out of the campers and outside! • the inflatable obstacle course was a blast. I think I enjoyed watching our husbands jump off it or slipping than anything. • the foam party was the highlight of our day Saturday. The kids had so much fun getting buried in bubbles. • my dog LOVED the dog park. I was so happy to see one fenced in and all for our four legged friend to run around in unleashed with other dogs. •cookie decorating was a fun idea for the kids to do before we went swimming. As a mom with multiples, $2/cookie was kind of expensive (in my opinion) •lots of nice stuff in the gift shop. Spent $25 in there on toys/candy and a cute magnet for our fridge that says the campground name on it. •sewer right on sight so you didn’t have to drag your camper offsite somewhere to dump. Cons • lack of rain made the grass at the sites very dry. Felt like walking on needles. • soooo sandy at the sites all of us booked. Ironically we weren’t near the water/beach. Our camper floors and beds were covered in sand. • the flies were TERRIBLE! Regular house flies were BITING. I think we brought a dozen flies home with us from camping that I can’t get out of my camper ha! The gnats were awful as well, swarming your legs and arms. And bug spray didn’t help. Reluctantly they went away at night. Absolutely no mosquitoes so that was at least pleasant! •No recycling? So sad. For the planet. For the kids’ futures. For the landfill. Please consider getting a recycle bin. We separated everything during our stay and were shocked there wasn’t one, after hearing from another camper saying they have asked for one and the owners don’t listen. •check out times at 11, suck. We’ve been to many campgrounds that do later checkouts after 1pm and anything after is extra which is way easier to leave relaxed and not rushed to make sure we have everything cleaned up/put back. However, with all of this being said, I think this is officially our favorite campground we’ve been to to date and we cannot wait to book many trips next summer for long stays. A lot of my cons are nothing to do with the campground. Mother Nature plays a huge factor on the weather conditions, the bugs and or dryness of the grass.

First time I've ever been there, my better half and his son used to go. Minus one star as I think the cost to get in, just for the use of the pond and pool was really overpriced IMO. I could see if it had included a campsite, or a free burger n fries or a couple adult drink tickets included, that price would've made more sense. If you go here, it is best to bring your own lounge chairs and a shade tent or canopy of you want to find shade as there really is none and the ones there (I wasn't sure or not) are from what campers or others brought and set up on their own. However there is an abundance of activities for kids all day long which was cool. Was fun to see the bubble machine BUT I heard several kids crying because the bubbles made their eyes sting. Isn't there something more natural and sting-free/burning free that could be used to make the bubbles? I'm really glad that we had use of the small chlorine pool though. That water was the perfect temperature, there's shade under the pavilion. I like that we could bring our own floaties and pool toys too. Overall a fun day for all of us, the food and drinks were good but I still think at $25 PER PERSON is insane. Not even cheaper for kids under 10.

Great campground amenities but not much shade. The one thing that really annoys me is the fact that this campground discriminate. Nowhere online states Oasis discriminate "NO PITBULL or ROTTWEILER!!!!" We booked here online and and upon checking in we received a map from the office and inside that pamphlet states "we do not allow pitbulls or rottweilers or any similar breed. If you are going to discriminate a certain type of dog breed state it LOUD and proud on your website!!!!!! We had to make arrangements (3hrs drive) to have our dog removed from the campground. Signs everywhere that dog is allowed on the beach but while we visit this campground over a weekend we saw two dogs on the beach. 1 stayed right in the beach site (pretty sure it was some sort pit mix/brindle) and the dog was on a leash but walked right up to the water and other at the bar on the beach. 1st pic, Website verbage photo 2nd pic, The pamphlet that was handed to me when checking in.

I will start by saying that we still had fun. however, the staff are not rude but they are not friendly either. we purchased tent sites and they are very small. my tent was less than 1 foot away from my neighbors tent so it felt like they were in my tent. the parking is very sparse if you want your vehicle by your site. they had "overflow" parking close to the tent sites, but it was only 4 or 5 stalls and they were full from people not staying in the park only visiting. which sounds bad considering they charge you $5 dollars for every car other than 1 at your site. the biggest concern i had was there are only 2 bathroom areas in the park. and pretty much next to each other, so if you have to use the bathroom badly when you wake up be prepared to have a hike to the restrooms. showers are free but not really hot water. we rented a golf cart, and boy, i could walk faster than they are programmed to go. actually its funny they go faster in reverse than forward. craft time is just really going to the park store to get premade crafts you assemble. the items in the store are atrociously high priced and strategic, most are toys that your kid has to have in order to not have a melt down. firewood is a high price for what you get. i drove less than 3 minutes towards a small town after leaving the park and found a much better deal and had wood the entire time. our fire pit ring was rather small compared to the neighbors so it was challenging to cook and sit around it together. next they had a water gun war in the park and people were throwing buckets of water with sand from the beach so it was not fun. they had to tell everyone involved in the game to not use frozen water balloons so it was really badly thought out. the year before had people breaking windows. the "lake" is more of a deep pond really. the photos show the "pond" being way out of proportioned to the actual thing. life jackets are provided for free at the pond for everyone. lastly, i would definitely suggest to anyone who is a light sleeper to bring ear plugs as there is an interstate less than 300 feet from the campground so semi trucks were going by all night. i found it a peaceful white noise but thats me. in all it was fun because we made it fun with family however i would not...

ADVISORY, before you become a seasonal at Oasis campground you need to know that the $500 deposit is a scam! As a seasonal of 4-years the owner refused to return our deposit, per owner we didn't give an advance notice which is a lie but that is how this campground operates, they never honor their own agreements and are guilty of twisting the terms of the agreement...example the meter reading charge is suppose to be $5 quarterly but instead they charge a $5 meter reading monthly this way they can make extra money off you...the campground has never issued the yearly agreements on time either however per owner it really doesn't matter as the agreement is not binding like a contract so the campground doesn't have to abide by the agreement as it's only an agreement to use the campsite and it's not a rental contract thus the deposit of $500 can be withheld....so beware as you'd be essentially giving away your cash deposit so think twice as the owners have no intention of returning any deposits....the other shameful issues are the police had to be summoned for misconduct of intoxicated onsite managers, another known incident is where the owners threatened a seasonal couple to either pay a $1500 dollar electric bill for one month or be kicked out? The seasonal couple hired an electrician and it was noted that the hard wiring to the box was actually for all the golf cart batteries being charged which actually belong to the campground so the electric bill was not for the seasonals camper but rather the campground however the owners still forced seasonal couple to pay the inflated electric bill or be evicted from Oasis campground. The place will RIP you off every chance they get. There is soooo much more wrong at Oasis campground just read...
