Seneca Sol is nothing less than a perfect getaway. We stayed in the Fox Den suite and loved all the common area spaces including the welcome tent, equipped with fruit, coffee, tea, water, umbrellas to borrow, a clean shared fridge and a ton of information on local activities and eateries. The terrain is stunning and feels secluded yet safe. We especially enjoyed the natural flora along the trail as well as the pond. We were immersed in nature while feeling totally pampered by the clean and thoughtful amenities. Every single detail was very thought out and we found ourselves having everything we needed to feel comfortable in our stay. While we did not stay in the tents, we had the chance to walk along the trail where they are set up. Each tent seemed to have ample space in between the next and felt very private. The following night we stayed at another glamping resort near the area (firelight camps) which did not even compare to Seneca Sol. The tents were right next to each other and we did not feel the same sense of privacy or coziness. The natural terrain did not even compare to Seneca Sol.
If you are deciding between these two sites I highly suggest Seneca Sol as we will for sure be returning.
The breakfast was delicious! And the sunset from the Fox Den balcony was unreal.
Thank you Christine and Cameron for hosting us and curating such a welcoming, relaxing...
Read moreMy best friend & I booked a last minute wknd on Seneca Lake to celebrate my 50th birthday. We scored when we found Seneca Sol. We stayed during off-season on a particularly cold wknd and made reservations the day before arrival. This wonderful family jumped through hoops to make our stay “work”. We stayed in the Alpaca Farm House. There were two of us but this house could easily accommodate 8+ ppl. The house has three bedrooms, two full baths, a spacious well equipped kitchen, two large gathering/family room areas as well as a mud room w/washer & dryer, front porch and back deck. So much room! Everything we needed was there! The decorating was eclectic and the house was extremely clean. The host was incredibly kind and invited us to come along when she fed the alpaca’s. The Alpaca Barn is close enough to catch glimpses of them when they venture out of their cozy barn. In warmer seasons the guests can meander out on their property and explore. The popular Seneca Lake wineries/breweries were all within less than 5 miles. We had an excellent experience here from beginning to end. This is a perfect place for large families, a girls weekend or a group of friends to gather and make memories! We will definitely be returning, hopefully for a girls trip with more of...
Read moreWhat an experience! From the moment we arrived, we knew this was perfect. First off, the property is beautiful, almost as beautiful as the drive into the town. Slightly tucked away from town, this resort will give you the privacy and comfort you seek. Upon arrival, we were led to our tent/palace and explained the overlay. Such a beautiful location, one could spend the entire time there. We were even offered the opportunity to catch an alpaca! The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the view was what we needed. You will find everything needed to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning with fresh coffee/tea if that's what you want. Bathrooms and shower blew us away! I'm used to camping and making due, but this was on another level. I truly get the definition of glamping after staying here. You are awarded every every comfort you expect from home. I have so much to say of the attractions and surrounding areas, but seneca sol was the highlight. Too much to mention! Fire pit is made for you every night, smore kit included. Fresh towels in the bathroom every day. Shower facilities climate controlled. This place is perfect. I cannot stress...
