We recently had the most amazing camping experience at a serene and picturesque campground nestled in the heart of the forest. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the peaceful sounds of rustling leaves and chirping birds, instantly feeling embraced by nature's tranquility. The campground's facilities were impeccable, with clean restrooms, showers, and convenient dishwashing stations that made outdoor living a breeze.

What elevated our experience even more was the warm hospitality extended to us by Kevin and his family, who manage the campground with passion and dedication. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests set the stage for a truly memorable stay. When our camp neighbor's car battery unexpectedly died, Kevin sprang into action, offering a helping hand and his expertise to get their vehicle back up and running. It was heartwarming to witness such kindness and support in the midst of nature's embrace.

One of the highlights of our stay was the abundance of wildlife that calls the campground home. We were greeted by curious deer that came right up to our campsite, and the songs of nearby owls serenaded us to sleep each night. Exploring the surrounding trails offered us glimpses of elusive foxes and playful squirrels, reminding us of the beauty and diversity of the natural world.

As we sat around the crackling campfire under a starlit sky, we reflected on the unforgettable moments we had experienced during our time at this campground. Loved this place! It's a pet friendly campground with water nearby. The parking lot is next to the campsite so its not too far to set up your tents. We did have a large group of ~15 people, 2 dogs and a rabbit. The owners were super friendly and kept checking up on us. Be warned that your campsite will still be somewhat near other people, so it would be helpful not to blast music at late night hours. There is running (cold) water at the sink where you can wash your stuff next to the bathhouse which also has cold water. The toilets are portable bathrooms, but they are the cleanest portable bathrooms I have ever been in! It is even scented (and you can smell it from the outside). You don't even smell whatever business is in there even while you are doing your own business. Although there is no running sink in the bathroom, they do provide hand sanitizer, but you can just walk a bit to the running sink. The waters were clear, and there was water activities nearby. You can also buy firewood and ice from the owners. You won't get much cellular service here if any at all. But the night sky was beautiful when I came to visit. The accommodations provided by the camping were exceptional. The presence of clean restroom and shower facilities was a welcome convenience, ensuring that our camping experience remained comfortable and enjoyable. There is a 15min drive supermarket nearby which is really helpful. You can enjoy activities like kayaking, fishing, swimming, boating and hiking.
