I noticed there was a review stating there were seasonals playing music through the night and that its not the campgrounds fault. I disagree. There are quiet hours at this campground and they should have been enforced.Thursday evening we arrived. We were assigned a sight 10 feet to short for our camper. And un level is not even the word for it. That night I remember saying wow this is such a nice quiet campground. That is until the seasonals got out of work Friday and came piling in. Along with the weekend campers and the seasonals, we were packed in like sardines come Friday night. Friday night the partying went on till 1am. Not to terrible. But then Saturday night came and that party time extended till 3am. Sunday night came and call after call to the ranger who was only 5 spots down from us was made. He rode his golf cart across the roadway 3 times throughout the early morning hours. I had had enough. It was 4am and my kids were wide awake. I called the sheriff. They showed up and the party stopped at 5am! The cops stated that this is a regular occurrence there. We left by 7am the next morning. We will never return there. Not one apology was made to us and if you ask me if those people having the party were told to shut it down and they didn't after the 2nd time their power should be turned off or they should be kicked out. We were not the only ones that went through 2 nights of hell. And to top this off they kept having brown outs for 2 days. We couldn't even run our air conditioner. Also our breaker kept tripping and had to be replaced. Then to top that there was no water for 11 hours. Apparently a transformer blew on the campground. After speaking to the regulars they laughed and said it happens all the time. Oh and the bathrooms /shower houses were gross too. so gross. Glad I didn't have to use them. One the plus side the pool was nice and they had an nice playground. But these 2 things are not enough to make us ever go back. So if you like to party go here. And if you are a family with young kids that need to sleep...

Heads Up, about this campground. Seemed to be a great place. Didn't realize the campsites security, pulls everyone over. My guest who came to visit the cabin, we're given a hard time at the office. The security guard, pulled into the driveway of the cabin and then turned off his head lights in the middle of the night. Why, don't know, I felt harashed. The lady that worked in the office was telling other campers,, that my family should have been kicked out, because we had a small radio in the cabin and had it on ,until 1130pm on friday. Saturday night, this place was loud, and people were driving pass on golf carts fast and had been drinking, loud music, nothing was done by the secretary guard. One of the other campers informed me that, the seasonal campers, can do no wrong, rules don't apply to these campers. The cabin looked beautiful, but looks can be deceiving. Turned on oven and the whole cabin smelled of mice fecus. The fan over the stove, has a hole, made by a mouse. It also has the mouse fecus smell. I was happy to see that the cabin had a bathroom inside it. Although when I turned on the water , it smelled bad, like rotten eggs. It was so bad no one wanted to shower. I drove home to take a shower. It smelled bad to even do a few dishes. I didn't expect bad smelling water, at the remodeled cabin. All I got to say is, don't judge a book by its cover. Just because it looks nice, doesn't mean it is. This place was nothing but a hassle, and I did not have a good time, felt watched , by the security for no reason. This place is like the...

Bugs, Poor quality facilities, and staff is not quick or very helpful. Started out great, great price, friendly on the phone, easy reservations. Got there late at night, had to find someone to do paper work. Was notified at check in that I needed $100 cash for a deposit. Which I didn't have, made an exception, took my credit card number instead. Was lead to the cabin, looked nice enough. Everyone got everything in and settled and turned in for bed. Thats when it all went wrong. All 6 of us woke up scratching and itching. microscopic biting bugs, in the hundreds. We then, late in the night hurd scratching, assumed it was outside, WAS not. We found evidence of a critter inside the cabin in the kitchen that next morning. Poop, of sizable amount, about cat size. Ewwww! Then went to go wash off all the biting bugs and encountered very large spiders in the bathroom showers and afterchecking 3 bathrooms, they were all run down. We notified the office, we want to leave. No special accomidations were made to help us on our way. We were told to come back when the office opened at 9. All this crazyness had been going on since 6 a.m. We left for coffee, and come back. We signed out, and was told management would be back at 11. Really? We have called twice now, asking for management to call us back, so we can get that refund. We keep getting the run around. Not happy with this experience at all. Hope it will be rectified in a rimely manner. I will comment back as soon as I hear...

I stayed with my friends who have a permanent site there. It's clean, kept up and very pretty, other campers are very friendly and respectful. They have 2 ponds and lots of little critters ( chipmunks, groundhogs, frogs, ducks, peacocks in a pen etc) running around. The campground actually has a bar that serves food when open inside the camp next to the pool. They have lots of stuff going on during the summer to keep you entertained (we played bingo one night) but should you choose the town of Holland isn't far. Plenty of restaurants around and stores if you've forgotten something. Not a far drive from Niagara county but just far enough to get away for a quick weekend. Picnic areas, playground, plenty of bathrooms/ showers, cabins to rent and dog/cat friendly.

THE WORST cabin we ever stayed in. Sharing pictures of what we suffered through. Jack Daniels $190. A night?!?!? You have got to be kidding me! Charging this price because it sleeps 8? Pictures speak a thousand words. No wonder the website does not have pictures of the inside. Filth and discussing smell. Dirty tissues behind the bed, moldy AC. They leave a can of Lysol and air fresheners? For what? The Health Department needs to be informed. Roughing it is one thing but we didn’t expect a cabin to look like this for that price.

Despite the bad reviews this place is great. Clean, dog friendly, grounds maintained, good prices, friendly people, and average sized spots. They have hiking trails, ponds/lakes, fishing (small trout, sunfish, and bass), a pool, and bar. This place is way larger than we expected. Most people here have a golf cart to get around. I would suggest you bring a car or something. Bathrooms are not the best, but sulfur water plays a role. Also the spots are not level. Roads are rough.
