If you're looking for a stay that captures the heart and soul of Woodstock, NY, Hotel Dylan is the place to be. The moment you step onto the property, you feel transported back to Woodstock '69, where music, art, and good vibes reign supremeđ¸â¨
Each room is thoughtfully designed with retro-chic 70s decor, featuring cozy, clean, and modern comforts with a nostalgic touch. The highlight? Every room comes with a record player! We spent our nights unwinding after a long day of shredding at Belleayre and Hunter Mountain (just 30 minutes away) while spinning classics like Sgt. Pepperâs Lonely Hearts Club Band and Elton Johnđś
The three amazing owners clearly put their heart into this place, ensuring every guest experiences the magic of Woodstock. The lobby is an absolute vibeâfilled with guitars, vinyl records, board games, and incredible art. Thereâs even a cozy little bar and plenty of seating to kick back and soak it all in. And letâs not forget the bright yellow Volkswagen van parked outside, a perfect nod to the free-spirited culture of the 60s and 70sđđ
Another perk? Santa Fe, the delicious Mexican restaurant right in front of the hotel, offers guests 10% off their bill! đŽđš The location itself is unbeatableâyou're just minutes away from the best that Woodstock has to offer, whether it's hiking, skiing, live music, or exploring the townâs vibrant arts scene.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Dylan in Woodstock, and it surpassed every expectation. As a woman traveling solo, my foremost priorities are safety, cleanliness, and comfort, and Hotel Dylan delivered on all fronts. It offered a sublime retreat steeped in the nostalgia of an iconic era.
The property is conveniently accessible and intuitively designed, making parking, check-in, and navigation to the room seamless. My room was both inviting and distinctive, with thoughtful touches that struck a harmonious balance between retro-bohemian flair and polished boutique luxury.
The amenities provided a welcome respite. Communal spaces â both in the lobby and outdoors â were artfully curated to reflect the spirit of Woodstock. Features like outdoor games and a seasonal pool elevated the experience from a simple overnight stay to something truly memorable.
In-room amenities were equally impressive, with every detail carefully considered. Essentials were complemented by delightful surprises: a vintage record player with vinyls, curated book selection, board games, and locally sourced snacks, each element contributing to a sense of place and personality.
Itâs evident that Hotel Dylan was created with love and reverence for Woodstockâs rich musical legacy. The result is a space that feels both intimate and inspired, perfect for those seeking comfort, character, and a...
Read moreSet against the beautiful backdrop of the Catskill mountains, the Hotel Dylan is a short drive from the Town of Woodstock. Hotel, is however pushing it! It's an expensive roadside motel. The rooms are nice and of a high standard with a delightful nod to Woodstock's illustrious past. Unfortunately, any hope of a good night's sleep was dashed due to poor soundproofing. The constant whosh of passing vehicles starts around 5.30am. The trucks delivering to the restaurant in front of the hotel in the early morning also add to the ambience. The key for my room was in an envelope at the door of my room as per instructions sent to me by email, which I thought was highly efficient until I had an interaction with the guy at the desk who was genuinely puzzled and irked by my presence, which explains why they leave the key to your room in an envelope at the door of your room. I don't think they're people, people, and I'm fine with that, however, the, "Love is all you need" cushion on your bed when you walk into your room is a particularly ironic touch. I read their explanation for the poor soundproofing in the comment's where they attribute the age of the building as a factor. If that's the case and they are aware of this major flaw, and they really are concerned for the comfort of their guests, why don't they make people aware of it on...
