The first time I discovered Point Breeze Motel and cottages was back in 2001. I asked someone in town what’s a good place to stay a motel in Indian Lake. They said go down to point breeze down route 30.||I went down the long driveway. Such beautiful grounds I went into the office and talked to Jean Langley. She said they had availability and it would be $40 a night. Her husband came in and I chatted with him.||Well, now it’s 23 years later and I’ve gone back every year. After so many years I can say this is such a wonderful place to go. The son of the original owners took over around 2009 Scott and his wife Marsha are wonderful, friendly people. I’ve stayed at the motel and down at the cabin one of the cabins , the Lakeside cabin||I can just go jumping into the lake just steps from the motel or one of the cabins. Take out a boat canoe. ||Other people staying at the Motel and cabins are always friendly. It’s a fantastic place. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else when I go to the...
Read moreAnother great family vacation at Indian Lake in the books! Scott is (as always) the warm welcoming host and the location is a perfect scenic quiet getaway from the busy grind. Great place to swim, boat, fish, kayak, read, hike, have a campfire and relax for a week. We've been going here for years and it never disappoints. Good selection of motor boat, rowboat, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards to use at this place, all for free. We have stayed in the motel, cottages and house on the hilltop and all are very pleasant and quite affordable. The lake is one of the less developed ones so expect to see some beautiful wild scenery, a bald eagle, loons, and more. And Scott goes out of his way to help you enjoy your stay and get you what you need (even a dictionary!). Plenty of board games, puzzles and books to use too and living room space to gather in! Love this place! Will be booking it...
Read moreMy wife and I got married in Indian Lake last summer, and while it's taken me a while to get this review written, I can still remember how incredible the folks at Point Breeze Motel & Cottages made everything for us. The theme is rustic, but warm and comfortable, and perfectly fit to the small town and lake community that surrounds it. The owners are some of the kindest and most welcoming people I have ever met. If you can get one, I highly recommend one of the cabins down the hill, as you'll wake up to a gentle sunrise and a view of the lake that will start your day in a calm, serene way. That being said, there really isn't a bad view anywhere on the property, between the woods and the lake. I cannot recommend this place enough, and my wife and I are looking forward...
