It was our first camping trip and we were hyped up for it! We arrived excited set up camp with no regards to the families beside either side of us. Little did we know both those families were going to get so wasted we wouldn’t get a good nights sleep. We had no one to call to have someone come up and quiet them down, and when we did go over to ask if they could quiet down they laughed and got louder. It was until midnight after us driving around trying to find someone did we find the sweetest groundskeeper. He asked them to shush but we barely had a nights sleep. I felt horrible for the couple across from us who had a 3 month old and couldn’t get to sleep from the loud noise.

If you’re expecting a quiet camp to get away and relax in nature, then this is not the place. Families everywhere with some who don’t even quiet themselves or their children down after 10pm. No one enforcing the rules.

I will give it three stars because each lot was pretty private and the groundskeeper was sweet and had us moved. Ultimately, the bad experience ruined our outlook on camping. However, the camp was...

It's a nice campground at $20 a night. If you are wanting piece and quiet this isn't the place. Stayed 3 nights. People were very loud and obnoxious and it didn't matter what time it was. Quiet time is between 10pm and 7am but it is not enforced like they say it is. First night was ok. 2 night got woke up at 3am because someone was slamming doors. 3rd night people weren't quiet it well after midnight then got woke up at 6am by someone's dog barking for over an hour. Don't bring your dog if you can't control it as it will eventually ruin it for other people that like to bring their dogs. It was $20 for a canoe rental for 24 hours. There's a couple trails to walk. The only bathroom stalls that had a lock on the door were the ones where the showers were and one was so rusted the lock didn't work. First time going and probably the last. Will...

This campground is quite large with both sites on the shore and in the woods. Most sites are a good size with ample space between to give you some privacy. The campground staff was super friendly and helpful. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and in good shape. There is a nice bathing beach and canoe/kayak rentals available. The trails at the park provide a nice and not too strenuous hike. There are various different lengths from 1.6 to 5.6 miles. This campground has bear boxes at each site as there are bears in the park. As long as you follow the rules regarding food and toiletries the bears will leave you alone. The park staff take their rules very seriously in order to keep all visitors safe and if you disregard the rules you will be made to leave. |This was a great campground and I would...

Beautiful campground, our site was stunning right on the water, neighbors were quiet, could hear a pin drop at night but instead heard the loons wailing (amazing). My biggest fear is bears, had one walk right in between my neighbor and our site the first morning, and then a few nights later one was spotted a few sites down walking down the road. We keep a clean site but if the camper before you does not, you may have company as bears return to where they find food. Water was warm, garbage/recycling area was clean but a decent trek from our site. No complaints!

My favorite place to camp! The campground is huge... you may have to drive everywhere or you might be lucky enough to be close to the showers and beach to walk. You will have to drive to take care of your garbage and do dishes...thats probably the most painful part of camping here and its honestly not that bad. Keeping all your food in the bear lockers isn't horrible either. No cell service so its nice to be off the grid. Its worth the loons and ducks, the lake, the view and the fresh air. Also be sure to check out the shops in Inlet!
