Stayed there just this pass weekend and it was so relaxing. If you want to just do nothing and relax this is the place for glamping. We stayed in the Bell tent and it was spacious and clean. Nestled under a bunch of trees and the creek was across the way. The communal kitchen was awesome. I loved this. Whatever you needed for cooking was there for you to use. just make sure you clean up after yourselves because its not the owner's job to clean up after you. LOL The bathrooms were always cleaned and stocked. Hot showers- to save heat and water- you do have to hit the knob a few times to get the water to stay on. The system is on propane and understandable. The hammocks and chairs that were all over the individual sites and by the communal area were awesome. The only thing is that you will need to shake things off due to them being in nature for any bugs and birds.LOL. Very simple for a campground. There is a playground for the kids but you will need to keep them occupied as there are no planned activities and to tell you the truth that is what camping is about. Let them enjoy nature. They have inner tubes and kayaks for using on the creek- The creek wasn't high enough for kayaking but you could tube if you wanted. Some campers had trouble with connection with phones - we were able to connect if need by as the wifi was available. Also depended on the cloud cover since this is in a valley. Another way to disconnect. Was able to check messages just in case but other than that- off grid is the best. The owners were awesome and checked in with you every day to make sure you were taken care of. The rest of the staff the same and very friendly. Always asking if we needed anything. If you needed anything- they had a cute little trolley that had some basic stuff and novelties to buy. Prices were reasonable. If you couldn't find it there- you could go into town either direction toward hinsdale or franklinville and buy stuff at the local gas station or mom and pop store. We are definitely coming back and can't wait. Thanks to everyone. Art and Nadine

We stayed in the Avenger trailer located in the 200 area. I personally love to camp where I feel like it’s a bit remote. The location was approx 25 min from Ellicotville, which was great when we wanted to explore the area, check out local shops, visit the winery and brewery or walk around the town. I liked where the campground was located. I could escape and enjoy the serenity when I wanted too or choose to go to a more populated area. The avenger had all the amenities to make camping fun, convenient and comfortable. The campground was walkable and I enjoyed the creek and communal kitchen area. There were hammocks to enjoy and a great little trail way. It’s not very large, but that’s what I enjoyed the most! The creek is a great way to cool off, float or just enjoy the sounds. There were fresh eggs for sale, firewood and kindling and other small snacks for purchase. I would suggest brining some small bills if you plan on purchasing anything. We took the old route 16 trail to the bridge and enjoyed the view. On the way back we stopped at the communal area and purchased a cold water, relaxed in the hammocks and walked back to the camper. It was a great walk and not too far and great for pets. We had a great stay and hope to be back soon!

My husband, 2 small dogs, and I stayed in The Traveler for 2 nights. The camper was clean and comfortable. Besides the appliances available in the camper, there is a shared outdoor kitchen. We had access to a grill, griddle, fridge/freezer, microwave, Keurig. I did not need to bring 1/2 the items I did, many utensils and things you will need are already there! Our camper had a shower that I used, clean and worked great. I checked out the shared bathroom and it was very nice. This was NOT a creepy, gross, camp bathroom/shower to be afraid of… quite the opposite! The fenced in dog park was one of the highlights for me. It was huge with double gates as you enter. We also enjoyed walking by the creek and visiting the sheep/goats they have on the grounds. It was a bit rainy during our visit so we took advantage of the large pavilion on the premises and played games while enjoying snacks. My only complaint is that I didn’t visit sooner!

⭐ 1-Star Review for Campground Adventures – You Need to Know the Truth ⭐

I am leaving this review because I believe it is irresponsible and dangerous to keep quiet about what’s going on here.

Campground Adventures has been promoted as a relaxing “glamping” destination, but there is a complete lack of transparency about the area’s serious safety concerns. I stayed here and was absolutely horrified by what I experienced and later discovered:

🚫 No cell phone service. If something happens, you will not be able to call for help. That is not mentioned anywhere.

🚨 Directly across the street lives a Level 2 registered sex offender. He is even reportedly involved with the local fire department. This is public record, yet Campground Adventures makes no mention of this, despite hosting families and children right next door.

🚗 I personally witnessed drivers huffing drugs while parked near the exit onto Route 16. These weren’t hidden behaviors—this was happening in broad daylight, as people waited for traffic to clear.

🐾 The tick problem is severe. My dog contracted Lyme disease shortly after being in the area. I sat in the local ER vet and watched other pet owners get heartbreaking news. The vet confirmed Lyme cases here are frequent and often deadly.

🐀 There are rats openly wandering the property. Not just one or two—multiple sightings. No pest control visible or mentioned.

🚌 There are also groups of young men regularly standing outside the sex offender’s home, waiting for the coach bus from Buffalo to Olean. This adds to the uncomfortable and unsettling atmosphere.

📚 The owner of Campground Adventures is a teacher at Pioneer Central School, and yet is allowing events and glamping to take place in a setting completely unsafe for children and families—with no warnings and no visible security.

💸 I was also ripped off by the owners. I paid for services that were never delivered, and when I brought up concerns, I was brushed off and disrespected.

Let’s set the record straight:

I personally camped at Campground Adventures, and I am also a neighbor in the community. This is not hearsay or “personal frustrations” over the mobile home park. This is my firsthand experience staying at your campground, and I stand by every word in my review.

You knew I was a paying guest. I spoke with your staff, I booked through your system, and you knew I was local. You’ve chosen to ignore real safety issues and try to deflect by spinning this as some personal vendetta. That’s irresponsible.

🔸 I camped on-site — the lack of cell service is dangerous and should be disclosed. 🔸 The Level 2 sex offender living directly across the street is not disclosed to families who bring their children here. That’s negligence. 🔸 I personally witnessed people huffing substances by your exit — in broad daylight. 🔸 My dog contracted Lyme disease right after being on your property, and the vet confirmed it’s a known high-tick area. 🔸 There are rats visible on the property — and no signs of pest control. 🔸 You failed to provide services I paid for, and when I asked for help, I was dismissed.

This is not a smear campaign — this is a truthful review from a verified guest and concerned neighbor. You are downplaying legitimate issues that could harm people and animals. That’s not how a business rooted in a community should operate.

I will continue sharing my experience so that others can make informed, safe decisions for...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable glamping experience!

I first discovered Campground Adventures during a women's wellness retreat, and it was everything I didn’t even know I needed. The peacefulness of the setting, the connection to nature, The sound of the bullfrogs at night, the thousands of fireflies that lit up the night, and the chance to truly unplug and reconnect with myself was incredibly refreshing. The glamping accommodations were cozy and beautiful, and the entire experience left me feeling renewed.

I loved it so much that just a few weeks later, I brought my whole family back for a camping getaway—and it was AMAZING! We rented a camper, and the best part? Everything was already set up for us. It was truly zero-stress. All we had to do was show up and relax.

The campground itself is a hidden gem. There are hiking trails, spots for fishing, yoga, tube rentals so you can float down the creek, kayaking options, A fully fenced in dog park , and even the cutest little store inside a vintage trolley! Every detail was so thoughtful. There is a playground for kids and if you look around in every nook and cranny Mal has thoughtfully crafted and created little splashes of magic everywhere. Like the fairy houses and mushrooms, The wind chime trail, the wind phone, and the community seating area with hammock chairs, a communal grill and Blackstone, refrigerators and freezers.. oh, and not to mention the clawfoot tubs outside of our RV that you can cold plunge in or take a soak in at the end of the night .They truly have thought of everything.

We were super impressed by how clean the bathrooms and shower were, and each glamping site comes with its own fire pit and chairs, which made evenings by the fire feel extra special. Our kids were obsessed with the splash pad and had a blast feeding and petting the goats and sheep.

Mal and Jason, the owners, along with their incredible staff (especially Amanda!) were so warm, welcoming, and kind. The cleaning staff is top notch and they are the nicest people as well . They truly go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels at home.

We are already counting down the days until our next visit! If you're looking for a place to relax, recharge, and make memories—this is it....
