I've gone to Asa Adirondack for retreats three times over the past year. There are mountain retreats much nearer to me, but Asa is worth the travel. The owners, Larry and Christine, set this place apart from anywhere else. They invest much love in their work, are the kindest of people, and go out of their way to take care of all of their guests' needs. If there's something they don't anticipate you needing, they'll go above and beyond to find a way to provide it. ||The accommodations and amenities are as advertised. If you're not used to camping, Asa's "glamping" won't feel too foreign to you. The tents are like bed and breakfast rooms. The location is beautiful. The scenery is amazing. Completely peaceful and serene. Christine and Larry were wonderful. I very much enjoyed the attention to detail from remembering our birthdays to also my sister and brother-in-law. Larry is practically a mind reader, knowing what I needed and taking care of it almost before I asked. ||Christine is the most amazing host. No detail of your stay is overlooked.
