**WINTERTIME REVIEW: I’m sure (I hope) this place is a much different experience in the summer and I genuinely wanted to give it a better review because we were very excited for our stay, but throughout our time here we just became increasingly disappointed. Privacy: if you’re looking for something more secluded, this ain’t it. From the pictures on Vrbo where we booked, and the description saying it was on 40 acres I thought it would be more quiet but The cabin is maybe 40 yards away from the hosts house. So we felt sort of uncomfortable with that. And for some reason they don’t have curtains on the windowed doors so you could see right in at night when someone drove down the driveway or when they walked by in the backyard. Dogs: their dogs are indeed friendly to people. However the black one tried to get in our cabin and then attacked our dog. I asked if they could keep them closer to their property but she said no. And I didn’t realize their dogs would be outside all day everyday and even up on our patio, which just made my dog bark a lot. Not to mention their dogs would be barking late into the night. Cabin: the Cabin itself is adorable and the view is pretty. And the proximity to downtown North Creek is nice but that’s the only reason I’m giving this place two stars. When we first arrived I thought my dog pooped inside only to realize the smell was coming from the holding tank (poop tank) below the cabin so every now and then I could smell it. It is not really a “two bedroom”. The description says it has a fully stocked kitchen which it mostly does so you’d think they’d have at least one sharp knife to cook with and that the dishes would be clean, but no. Also, we were really Looking forward to the fireplace but it wasn’t working when we arrived and when we asked the host to help us get it going she didn’t. I’m sure maintaining the property isn’t cheap, but for $145/night, and that you don’t get the summertime amenities (pizza, workshops, fire pit, etc), you would think they would have these things sorted out for guests. Cleanliness: shower, fridge, and dishes were not clean. Floor was good though. Host: not very friendly or accommodating at all. We came during Thanksgiving nov 27-30, so if that was problematic for them, they shouldn’t have had those dates open for people to book a stay. Hot tub: it’s an additional $25 for an hour of hottub. Not bad experience. A lot of rules that you don’t know about until you get there. Overall, we will be visiting north creek again but definitely not the hobby farm. We wanted a classic, quiet cabin getaway with a fireplace for my birthday/. Very very disappointing. I hope they sort these things out for future guests but it’s a no for me, dog.

We used to love coming here—it felt like our little oasis. We’ve stayed three or four times, and always looked forward to relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the peace and quiet. Unfortunately, this last stay completely changed our perception of the property. Upon arrival after a 2.5-hour drive, I went to use the bathroom and was shocked to find dried urine on the toilet seat—clearly not cleaned. There was also toothpaste splattered across the mirror and what looked like hay or pet debris in the tub. It honestly felt like someone had washed a dog in there. My boyfriend cleaned the bathroom himself so we wouldn’t start the trip on a bad note, but I was already feeling uneasy. The hot tub towels smelled awful, like wet dog. We had to do a “sniff test” just to find ones that didn’t make us gag. It’s unclear if the towels were even washed before we arrived. Still trying to stay positive, we brushed off the dirt on the window seat and tried to settle in. But later that day, I checked the bed (I ALWAYS do) and found makeup on the pillows and an unidentified textured stain on the bottom sheet. The sheets clearly had not been changed. That was the last straw. I wouldn’t let us ignore it. To her credit, Leslie came right down with fresh linens and took accountability. But the fact that she had to in the first place is incredibly disappointing—especially when a cleaning fee is being charged. Perhaps hire a pro cleaner. We spent the weekend joking that someone had been squatting in the cabin and got kicked out 20 minutes before we arrived. That’s how dirty it felt. The worst part is that we’ve had wonderful times here before. But after this experience, it’s clear the care and cleanliness have gone downhill. We made the best of it, but it’s time for us to move on. Leslie, please consider using the cleaning fee to replace the linens, nasty shower curtain, wash the towels properly, and raise your standards. At the very least, guests deserve to arrive to a clean bathroom and clean sheets (or at least put up a better illusion).

Cute and safe place! I picked this place because I had children with me and wanted a nice safe place to camp. We are all used to rugged camping, but I thought glamping would be fun since it included pizza and campfires and a hot tub! So I decided to pay a lot extra to stay here vs a hotel or camp cabin BUT those things were actually NOT included! It was a surprise and big bummer after hiking all day and after hyping up the kids to tell them it was all extra so we couldn’t do those extra things. I even asked Leslie before booking to confirm the hot tub was public but then after arrival she said I had to reserve it, with payment. There were no fires and of course firewood was extra. The site makes it seem like basic pizza is included but it is also extra and we felt very uncomfortable and rushed by the owners. I was not the only one who thought the things under included were actually included. Overall, I definitely do NOT think staying here was worth the price and would not stay here again. But we made it fun bc we were together. We went into town and explored and ate a lovely dinner there instead. The place IS adorable and seems like they do well! The dogs were so sweet. The bed in the cabin was very comfortable and it read really nice to have the heater. Towels were provided. Since there were multiple things that ended up being extra, I was afraid she was going to charge me for something she didn’t like after we left so I took pictures of everything how we left it and I recommend you do too.
