We're in the 1-2 star rating camp as on here and Tripadvisor. The owner was nice, but the amount of dirt and salt in our room would take 3+ months to accumulate at home, the rooms need repair pretty badly (peeling paint, flooring, worn carpets, worn out bedding, heavily damaged furniture, water damage in bathroom), and a generally unkempt. Other rooms in our group were better put together, but still were roughing it. We had to dig ourselves out of the driveway in the morning after some freezing rain. It was a skating rink and took about 90 minutes. The restaurant was about half full when we went though (but didn't eat there). Capacity seems limited. NOTE - there's no cell service in the area.

We visited for my sister's wedding weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The cabins are so cozy and the rooms are decorated nicely. One of our bathroom sinks was from a real granite rock that was carved into a sink!! We loved the electric fireplace in the bedrooms, too! The view was beautiful! There is so much to do around the area, and it was very convenient to have a Stewart's and Dollar General within a 2 mile radius. 100% recommend, and we plan to visit again!

They had good food, owner was excruciatingly rude. I have sat at the bar to eat there before no issues but he refused to take our order after i saw him take two other peoples orders, then he scoffed at our appearance (I have long hair and my gf had a tiedye on) as if we were to old for such nonsense (0nly 26) Then made us wait over 20 minutes to get a waitress or drinks for us. It was obvious he was hoping we would leave but at that point if staying made his night worse then ours I was staying. Once we finally got the food he angrily asked me how it was and I politely said it was very good. he then stormed off, Came back and did it again raising his voice. You could tell he was annoyed that I wasn’t faded by his outburst, Mind you we were polite the whole time. Then I waited for 20 more minutes for change which he then slammed on the bar top. I tipped my waitress and left. Foods good, but apparently don’t sit at the bar if your not over 35, clean cut and...

I had arrangements with Chris the owner to accommodate myself and 26 others for my husband's memorial on the weekend of July 12. Five days before my arrival I was informed, by a third party, that the Inn was no longer available to us. No explanation or contact was made. Needless to say I was devastated by the total lack of disregard and disrespect. With the help of strangers and at great expense we were able to find last minute accommodations but were scattered all over the area. Take my advice and do not trust this owner or...
