We reserved a couple of nights at Pine Harbor Campground, as it was close to a town where some old friends of ours retired. So very pleased with this campground! Very much like the campgrounds of my childhood. There were plenty of campsites and each campsite was huge! So many campgrounds these days really pack ‘‘em in close together, but not here. There is plenty of room to stretch out and let the dogs roam around on tie-outs, while we sat by the fire and solved world problems. Bathhouse was really nice and immaculate. Check-in was easy - owners were quite pleasant and we met Rocco the camp dog. Highly recommend!

Nice little campground! Peaceful and quiet. Restroom facilities are adequate, as well as the camp store. Nice playground for the kiddos 🙂

Cheated me out of over $249.

About 5 weeks ahead of my arrival, I made a reservation for my North Point for 50 amp full hook-up. When I arrived, Brett Bullock (camp manager) showed me the spot. It had 3 trees near or over 18" in diameter at the entry of the spot. It was so low that even the light to moderate rain created a 2"+ puddle some 6-8 feet wide and 20+ feet long right where my trailer was to sit. Not surprising given that the entire space was graded right into the middle of the area.

Judging by the size of the limbs obstructing the site, it had not been used by a large rig in some years. In fact, Bret admitted to me that he had never even seen a large rig in that spot before. So, after about 30-45 minutes of trying to back my rig into that spot, I had to give up as the best of all possible positions, would not allow the trailer to be backed into it.

When I went back to the office to tell him. He said he was sorry to have me come all the way out there only to be mistaken about the size and condition of the lot. I can understand that as well, however, HE WOULD NOT GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY. He offered me back half of my money! He gambled on whether a big rig could maneuver around 3 fully mature trees and lost except I'M THE ONE WHO HAD TO PAY!

How can someone not feel taken advantage of and cheated? I drove 2.5 hours just to give that cheater $250 of my money!

There are a LOT of places around the area that are much better than ratholes; go to them and give Pine...

We stayed here the last weekend in September. This campground is top notch. Some say it is noisy because of the road next to the campground. Few cars traveled it while we were there. The owners keep this campground very clean. Showers nice and clean. There is a Trash can and recycle bin at your campsite. You don't have to bring a garbage bag for your garbage. When you are sitting around the campfire you can smell the scent of Pine from the Pine Trees. It really is a truly and amazing campground that we have ever encountered. The sites are huge and most of them are grassy. The best part of our weekend there is that the owners are fantastic. They sure do care about their campers. When we arrived they showed us where we were to go. After we got set up they asked us if everything was ok. Which it was. They had a end of season pot luck ..which was fantastic! You guys are the best and we will be back next year . Promise. We love you guys and will be looking forward to the time that we can come back .....It is going to be a "long" Winter. Sigh. Thanks again for a remarkable weekend. ...

A great campground to stay at! Friendly host, reasonably priced sites, a covered shelter for picnics, and a nice little play area with swings, slides and a playground for kids. There's a small general store, cabins to rent, and some nice large sites that are large enough to comfortable for class A RVs like ours. Quiet but friendly neighbors and atmosphere. Sites are clearly marked and have trash cans, fire rings and picnic table, and mature trees make many of the sites nicely shady. Just 15 minutes from Irvine Park which is a great place with a free zoo you can walk around. When we arrived the camp host that booked me in even switched us to a site that would accommodate our 33 foot RV and towed car... Much appreciated! A very pleasant and enjoyable stay, would...
