Nelson Lake Lodge — Hotel in Town of Lenroot

What a great week we had! The owners are so wonderful and accommodating. The campground is very clean and our site was nice. They do have fire pits, you just have to ask for one and they wheel it to your site. There are only 2 temporary sites and the rest are seasonal so it was extremely quiet while we were there during the week. We rented a dock spot during our stay and it was super convenient being able to just walk a few hundred yards to our boat. This resort is located on property shared with RV sites. They have some rental units and the lodge has good food & cold drinks (but not open all the time so check their hours first). We stayed in the loft unit above the lodge.... it was very nice & cozy, and the best part is the deck that overlooks the resort & lake. It's walking distance from a couple other bars/restaurants, and also to a dam that is good for fishing from if you don't bring your boat or rent one. My husband and I stayed at this lovely place for our anniversary. It was beautiful and the hosts were so nice and friendly and helpful. We rented a boat and caught crappies one right after another. The suite was absolutely lovely with everything we could have ever wanted and then some. It was so clean and nice. We are definitely coming back next year with more family members. It had a large deck off the patio door which was so nice. I wish we could have stayed longer this time. Next year we will plan to stay longer since it was so...
