Ok so here’s the thing. I waited 2 days to post this review because I needed 2 days to actually process how amazing this little weekend getaway was.
Key takeaway: Silas House is amazing.
I don’t have photos to post because we were so present. But the ones online and in these reviews don’t do it justice. The minute we pulled up we knew we were in for something special. We walked in and we were greeted by Natalie with a warm welcome - the vibes were so nice. We had already been in contact prior to check in and she gave us great restaurant recos for the drive there as well as once we got to the area - which by the way is central to everything you would want to do. She also provided an awesome guidebook for bakeries, hikes, dranks, antique shopping.
She gave us a little tour of the gorgeous home that Aldo and her have made together - a labor of love. You see it in the details in the decor, in the energy of house itself and in the vitality of their voices. You feel so well taken care of - from the breakfast laid out in the mornings (including bomb ass cappuccinos) to all the recommendations they provided in person.
Silas House is special. And we were not even there that long. You have to go now before word spreads and it gets booked solid. Stay the week and work from there - they have a library and all the things you would ever need. Including a firepit and games for inside and out. Jealous of the reviews of people who said they got to have wine by the fire with these guys. I’d come back just for that.
Thank you! Muchísimas gracias por todo!...

This boutique hotel is a true gem, blending modern luxury with a cozy, personalized and romantic touch that makes you feel right at home.
The space itself is stunning—every detail feels thoughtfully curated, from the stylish decor, a bedroom fireplace, bathrobes and wonderful amenities, to the inviting common areas. You can tell Natalie and Aldo, the wonderful hosts, have poured their hearts into creating an experience that feels both upscale and personal. Their warmth and attentiveness made the stay even more special.
The location is perfect for anyone looking to unwind while still being close to the natural beauty of the Catskills. Whether you're curling up by the fire or taking in the gorgeous views, it’s a place that feels tailor-made for relaxation and reflection.
My only regret? Not staying longer! I can’t wait to plan a return visit to this magical haven. If you’re looking for the perfect modern boutique experience in the Catskills, the Silas House Inn is it....
Read moreAbsolutely loved our stay at Silas House! The house and grounds are even better than the pictures. The views from the windows of the surrounding mountains are just spectacular especially as the leaves change. The house is warm, cozy and inviting - only wish we had more time (that’s what next time is for!).
Our stay was made even better by the best owners - Natalie and Aldo. You can tell right away that they pour their heart and soul into this. Plus, they are the loveliest people!
Loved all the details throughout the home and different areas you could sit in and curl up with a good book or just conversation. The bed felt like sinking into a cloud - only problem was having to get up in the morning for breakfast!
