Rustic Woods Campground — Hotel in Town of Lind

This campground got more and more disappointing as the weekend went on. Not only was the bar/campground check-in not open when we arrived at 3pm on Thursday, but when it was open at 4pm the bartender couldn't find our reservation info (we had already gone to set up, so that didn't matter) and told me to come back the next day to pay. There is no "campground store" so no way to get a much needed carton of milk or bread if you need it without driving 10+ miles to town or the nearest convenience store. Not to mention no option to take the kids to get a treat of candy or ice cream or anything. We were never given a campground map, so I looked at the online version to find the nearest dumpster...went to take our bag of garbage to the one that was supposed to be by the restrooms near our site only to find it was gone...had to carry it halfway across the campground past the office. The bar/restaurant has great potential, but their wait staff needs some attitude adjustment. We went in Saturday night for a drink at the bar. We wanted an appetizer (not their steak and seafood meal that ended at 8pm). The bartender couldn't take our order so we flagged down a waitress as she went past (it was 8:43pm) she told us they were done serving at 8pm (their menu said they serve until 9:30pm). She wouldn't even take our app order. A group of 6 or 8 guys came in and all got the steak special meals (they arrived after 8:45 pm). Then at 9:08 another couple came in and a different waitress took their order for burgers and fries. Apparently the waitress we talked to just didn't want to work...but it really put us off of ever returning to the campground. To make matters worse she must have said something to the owner, because the owner brought out boats of popcorn to place around the bar, but obviously avoided our area of the bar we were at and wouldn't even look our direction. I have been coming to Rustic Woods since February and I've always had amazing service. Although this weekend was very different. The older woman who was working didn't acknowledge me for 13 minutes. And there was only 7 other people in the bar. Took an extra 5 minutes for the drink. Which was a jack and coke and the woman didn't even know what a jack and coke was? God, I'm sure I can account for everyone when I say, I'm gonna miss that little red head. So personable, attentive and always had my drink ready before I sat at the bar asking about my day. In addition the food was atrocious. They were out of half the menu. The food took way too long for what I ordered and for how many people were in this bar. The fries came out ice cold! What a shame. I loved coming to this bar. I would stay for hours, until nearly bar close. I don't know if I can recommend this bar, or campground to anyone anymore. It just continues to go downhill with...

Reserved a campsite there and arrived on a Friday night. Good luck trying to get checked in, its a total cluster in the bar/registration area. The outside is not much better, cars parked everywhere, cant drive through on certain roads to even get to the site. After half an hour we found someone to check us in and proceeded to our site cautiously (some of the sites/rv's look a little less nice than we are used to) and we couldn't even get into our site because of how some other vehicles were parked. We turned around and drove over an hour back home with 3 disappointed kids. We had high hopes for here because of the good reviews but we were let down. Update: the owner said she would refund our stay but after a couple calls she only refunded part of our stay. She never told me she wasn't going to refund all our stay but I assume it was because she thought my review was unfair (as she mentioned on one of my phone...
