Lost Lake Cabins — Hotel in Town of Long Lake

We stayed for two nights in the first aid cabin. Facilities are clean, camp host are friendly and helpful. Rowboat, canoe and kayak rentals are for 24 hours. We rented the rowboat for$30. You can purchase firewood on sight. The cabin was very clean. The lake front cabins have in my opinion the most privacy. Definitely bring a fan if you are staying during the hot months. the bunk beds were rather comfortable. The frames with springs are old school and were super solid. I slept like a rock. If someone sold worms for bait on site they could probably do well. I caught several bluegills and bass. I didn't not catch any trout but I am sure later in the fall I could. I would like to visit in the fall with cooler weather and the leaves changing colors. Our trip was pleasant and very reasonable in cost. What a gem this place is! Our 5 person group had plenty of room in cabin number 2. The cabin comes with electricity, which was great for charging phones(used basically for taking pictures because of the lack of reception), and using space heaters for the cooler nights during our stay. It was roughing it, but in style. The onsite host family was helpful and friendly. A note to the host parents: Your teenage son was respectful, conversational, and engaging. Cabin was great! Lake is serene and nice hiking trails. Only wish camp hosts told us where stuff was (they were gone most of the time). Everybody has dogs and only complaint was not facilities, but all the dogs in our camp, pooping in our site, barking. Our cabin had dog hair all over floor from prior visitors not cleaning. I love dogs, but don't want their hair/poop around my cabin. Our cabin was close to bathroom so lots of people walking by, would choose different cabin next time. Very well cared for place!
