The park has nice amenities and nice rental cabins. However, the RV sites are in need of a little attention. Our experience was that we were fortunate enough to get a full hookup site, although it was only 30 amp. The power panel for the sites are in the most unusual location we've ever seen in an RV Park. We had to use a friend's extension cord to reach the power connection. Also, getting into our site was an adventure since it had an entrance on a down hill grade, and the ground was very sandy resulting in our almost getting stuck. Overall, the park would be recommended, just come prepared for the power panel challenge. Also, keep in mind this review reflects our experience and does not indicate the nature of all of the RV sites. However, a majority of the RV sites are Seasonal/Perms that are well maintained.

RV’s BEWARE - LOW VOLTAGE at campground. We tried 2 different sites and voltage was constant below 110 and even tripped my surge protector twice when it dropped to 103 volts. Someone from maintenance tried to tell me that my surge protector was the problem😂. After speaking with the manager she did not seem surprised there was a problem and indicated the other side of the park recently had a problem. Also, the pedestal for the electric was too far away from the RV pad. Had to park my 5th wheel to the far side of the pad to make the 30 foot cord reach. Water hook up had same problem.

BEWARE- STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAMPGROUND!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE A PENNY. They will falsely accuse you of setting off fireworks that are coming from the speedway, erratically driving your car that has not been moved in days, speeding in a golf cart that doesn’t reach 12 mph and double charge your credit card while accusing you of not paying for a campsite despite proof of a paid receipt.

Extremely disgusted and disappointed by the vile staff at Arrowhead Campground. My family and I arrived on 8/1 for a tent site rental for three nights. Upon checking in, everything seemed “normal”. The front desk confirmed our reservations and charged our credit cards for the full amount and sent us on our way. We set up our sites and made ourselves a peaceful little home.

Little did we know, on 8/3 things would take a frightening turn. While sitting around the campfire and enjoying each others company, we were interrupted by flashing lights that accompanied the campground security and Sheriff police. The campground security officer, Dylan, approached us first. He was sent to evict us by “management” and demanded that we leave the premises immediately. We were accused of several false and fabricated “complaints” that held no proof and simply did not make any sense. When asked why no one ever warned us about the alleged complaints he couldn’t provide us with answers. We were extremely confused since we had several pleasant conversations in passing with Pam, the manager, throughout our stay. We refused to pack up our site and leave in the dead of night and demanded to speak to the person in charge.

At this point, we are all petrified. The Arrowhead staff was not listening to a word we were saying and had clearly mistaken us for another family staying on the campground. Luckily, there was a levelheaded female sheriff on scene that took control of the situation. The Sheriff listened to us and could see and feel our genuine fear and concern. She took a few minutes to assess the situation and speak with the security guard privately.

After several minutes of stalling, the campground security officer and sheriff emerge with Hayley. Hayley is the nastiest human you could ever meet. She is what scary campground stories should be about. Hayley needs to be banned from working with humans. Hayley couldn’t provide any proof to any claims and instead made the entire incident about her and how she had to leave her home to come out and evict us. We pleaded for proof of the fabricated claims but Hayley would just get aggressive and backtrack and only bring up how she was being inconvenienced outside her work hours. We calmly provided evidence of common sense to their alleged accusations but Hayley was too ignorant to listen. There was ZERO legitimacy to any of the accusations. After a senseless conversation, the Sheriff informed us that we could stay the night but we wouldn’t be able to use any of the paid facilities (shower and bathrooms) and we would have to be gone first thing in the morning. Completely unacceptable and unfair.

Hours later, at about 1am, the campground security stops by to inform us that this was all a big misunderstanding and Hayley was WRONG and has no authority to enforce any rules or can make any decisions. He said that we in fact did not receive any complaints and this was all a big mistake. Each false accusation miraculously had an excuse. Pathetic.

How disgusting. We were disparaged for…nothing. Hayley is pathetic. The entire Arrowhead Campground staff is pathetic. They should all be ashamed of themselves for the way they treated us. We left completely traumatized. Our children witnessed all of this and are now left with an awful memory of discrimination instead of a nice family camping trip. Do better or don’t run a business at all. Fire Hayley and get some proper training for the additional staff members to prevent this from...

Unfortunately, I will not recommend this campground Arrowhead to any other individuals or my family members. Staff are swift to kick you out or evict you and your entire group without any basis for false accusations or giving any warnings. This was our experience this weekend. We Were told to evacuate the property at approximately 9:01 PM on Saturday 8/3/2024. Allegedly our group had received multiple complaints which included:

  1. Driving a Jeep at 40-45mph in a 9 ½ speed zone. The security guard was 100% sure and pointed to the park jeep. Which was not moved or driven since we arrived and set up in the camp on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

  2. Fireworks- we had not even had any fireworks. The Dell Speedway is very near the vicinity of this campground and was shooting Fireworks.

  3. One of the campsites was NOT paid for and one of the Credit cards showed Double Payment, we had asked the officer manager at the registration counter if we were all cleared, and the Office Manager stated we were all cleared.

  4. Hailey, a basic staff member (with no authority), is just ignorant, unprofessional with a power trip, argumentative, and rude individual. Hailey allegedly told the security officer (a former Correctional Officer and Law Enforcement) on duty about those False issues and prompted him to call the Sheriff's Department (911). To evict us, mind you, this was happening at approximately 9:01 PM, which was very dark, and we are a group of 20+ mixed people from a Police Officer, Sheriff Officer, Attorney, Medical Staff, Well-known Professional Restaurant Owners, Corporate People to small children.

  5. Driving Golf Carts at a HIGH SPEED when Rented Golf carts only go 11 to 12mph.

  6. The Security Guard (a former Correctional Officer and Law Enforcement) NEED SERIOUS Comprehensive and Sensitivity Training. He basically pulled the trigger and called 911 before confirming the ACTUAL FACTS! He should not have acted without confirming the facts. This narrow-minded thinking could have led to some serious consequences and resulted in the loss of loved ones by the actual law enforcement.

Then later on that night, we all were still around the Campfire telling stories at approximately 1:19 AM on Sunday 8/4/2024. The Security Guard came and stated "Hailey has no authority to evict us and gave false information to him and his private security company, apologized and the Office Manager will be coming in the morning to personally apologize to all of us.

Never have I ever experienced this kind of mental trauma and treatment before. It was a very appalling, disgraceful, embarrassing, and dangerous situation. It could have turned out very bad if it wasn't for the quick thinking of the active Law Enforcement and Attorney in our group. They took charge of the situation and de-escalated it quickly. We feel we were racially profiled and mistaken for another group of individuals who allegedly LOOKED LIKE US and had the same Jeep that one of our family members drove. I would advise staying away from this Campground. Thousand Trails Company needs to take action quickly and either fire all Office staff members from Arrowhead Campground or require them to go through some type of comprehensive training.

They need to fire Hailey for causing all these issues and for her unprofessional behaviors throughout our stay. The security guard needs to go back into 101 basic training and just restart his career all over again. The Security Officer should have called the appropriate authorized staff members in charge to confirm all the alleged accusations and decide on the appropriate steps to take instead of trying to kick us out with Law Enforcement and being so...

Our experience at Arrowhead Campground wasn't my favorite travel experience. I am not someone who typically writes negative reviews — but I think my experience could be truly helpful and beneficial for fellow families to know before booking! :-)

For a family reunion, my husband, our 1-year-old daughter, and I rented an 8-person cabin — while our extended family members rented their own cabins.

While we had expected a campground experience, we were disappointed in what we had received for the money we had spent. (Our 2-night stay was over $600.)

First, our cabin was very dirty. The floor hadn't been swept or cleaned, and our feet turned black upon walking in. This was especially concerning for us, as our 1-year-old is currently crawling and not yet walking — so the floor serves as her play area. Luckily, we had purchased an outdoor pop-up play area for our trip — which we then used inside our cabin, simply so she could play in a clean space.

Next, our cabin was extremely small. We had believed, because we rented an 8-person cabin, there would certainly be room for two adults and one toddler — especially because the campground advertising focuses on having family-friendly amenities. The cabin was so small, our daughter's pack 'n play would only fit wedged between the bed and dresser in the primary room. (Luckily, the bars on her pack 'n play created enough space for breathability.) We were very concerned we wouldn't be able to create a safe sleep environment for her and discussed perhaps staying in a hotel.

For her to sleep well, we sleep in separate rooms — so my husband and I slept on the pull-out sofa in the living area. (The bunk room was so small we couldn't even maneuver ourselves, so we used the bunk room solely as storage.) The pull-out sofa mattress was concave, so we placed pillows in the center of the bed, so we wouldn't roll to the center.

Lastly, our cabin completely lacked hot water. (For our entire stay, we never had a drop of hot water.) We were unable to bathe our baby — or ourselves — for the entire weekend. We asked the front desk to please help ensure our hot water was in working order, and we didn't receive any further communication about the matter, so we are unsure of whether someone had ever come to look at our hot water.

All this to say, we had expected a campground experience (mosquitos, campfires) — but our cabin's lack of cleanliness, lack of hot water, and lack of space for 3 people, though it had been advertised for 8 people, made our weekend really challenging and uncomfortable. For over $600, we had hoped for more value — and for those "basics" (cleanliness, water, space to sleep) to be covered.

I hope this review is helpful for any future small families like my own who consider staying at...
