Just don’t. The restaurant is fine. The bar is fine. Small selection of both food and beverage. If you are planning to come and stay here absolutely do not! The trailers were horrendous. We selected ours because the web site said it had a covered porch…. No covered porch and the entire think smelt so strongly of mold I was terrified I would wake up not being able to breath. Additionally one of the bedrooms had bugs literally coming in from the ceiling. And not like 10 bugs. Like hundreds of bugs. We brought an air mattress just in case and I am so glad that we did. We had to sleep on the living room. There are no camp fires near the “cabins” there is one 1 community fire pit. Additionally the lake is disgusting and filled with algae and not deep at all. I’m really disappointed at the way the owner treated us. She’s very unprofessional. She chooses who she wants to be kind to and not. For some reason she doesn’t like my family and we have always been so respectful towards her and her husband and all staff. She gave my husband and I a dirty look and when to sit with her friend and heard her say she didn’t like us. I frankly do not know what we did to her- that’s she so hateful towards us. I don’t think I will be going back after seeing how unprofessional and hateful she was towards our family and children. They are kids for goodness sake. The bar is very nice and good food . I would not go there for a fish fry to have it in the cardboard tray . the people there are very nice . especially the owner . She is willing to talk to her customers . The male bartender he is not very personable . He seems like he is upset about things and takes it out on his customers .
