Budget Inn — Hotel in Town of Newburgh

If there was a -5 that's what you would recieve. Myself Jasmane and friend checked in at about 2am om Tuesday this week on our way home after driving for 12 hours. The women at the front was less then courteous (understandably so that early). However we were charged $85 and given a key to go find our room.....the door was broke, the window screen was ripped and window wouldnt stay locked, there was white stuff sprayed on the microwave and fridge, the heater was broke (ac in the window was falling out) it was about 90degrees in the room and this wasnt even the worst part. We were scared for our lo Ives, this neighborhood was scary as heck! The dead bolt didnt stay locked, there was a hole in the ceiling and the toilet was wobbling on the floor! The worst part of all was when we sat on the bed they were sliced and there were BUGS all over us!!!!! We were so disgusted that we were there just about 5 minutes and grabbed our stuff, ran to the car, dropped the key off and left! We then had to drive another 40 minutes to get somewhere to sleep! I have tried calling since we left multiple times and do not get an answer...we want our money back NOW!! Do not stay here this place is a sess pool of bed bugs and fleas, not the mention the cockroaches and rat traps we saw as well!!! Contact me for a refund asap or I will be calling the BETTER...

Not happy were bugs in my room, they did get exterminator to come very fast but did not offer me a discount or any type of refund . I was up all the rest of the night scared to sleep and couldn't leave at 3 A.M. with a 6 year old , only noticed the bugs cause i woke up in middle of night to use bathroom !!!! Then i told worker i needed one more towel for my son and was told no only two allowed in room at a time , theres no wash clothes and no floor/foot towel so floor gets soaked i had to use a pillow case to step out on . Between two adults one with long hair at that and one child two small motel sized towels are not enough and im offended i was given an attitude cause i asked for one more ............ Im just not happy wont come back 85 dollars is not worth it and especially for a room with a old box tv smh , oh and dont let children shower alone its either scolding hot or cold i got burned...

Arrived about 9 pm, paid for room, drove to room, and door was standing wide open. The bed wasn't made, carpet filthy, and smell of smoke was choking. We were given another room, non smoking, very crowded, bed had 2 flat sheets that were so much smaller than the mattress they couldn't be tucked in on any side, so they just wrinkled up & got tangled around our legs all night. No blanket and bedspread was gross. There was no soap or washclothes. No clock. No hairdryer. TV remote wouldn't work. No ice machine available, clerk gave us a small tub of ice from the office. This place cost $70 and wasn't worth...
