Lake Ontario Motel & Inn — Hotel in Town of Newfane

Our stay was a great experience! We stayed here while visiting Niagara Falls, yes a bit of a drive, but the price was right! This motel is built from an old barn, so it’s very cute & has a lot of charm. I loved the decorations. The garden areas were beautiful & the patio out back was a great place to eat breakfast. The owner was helpful & told us about a kiddie carnival going on up the road, which was a huge help. This is a fisherman’s area — you WILL hear men drinking & talking downstairs in the lobby or outside. Honestly though, if I wasn’t up sick all night, I probably wouldn’t have even heard them. Our room was quiet. The bed had obvious usage, but it was comfortable for us. The only real complaint I have about our room is the shower. It’s a small walk in, but the water pressure is weird & it takes forever to heat up. But it does its job. They provided mini fridges & microwaves outside the room (upstairs at least) & drinks (water, juice) were available for purchase. Breakfast was good both mornings. There was cereal, apple sauce, yogurt, bagels, pancakes, sausage, juice, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, donuts & cinnamon rolls. Yes — store bought, but good! I found this motel & inn on Google and yelp and based on other reviews and the distance to my job site this seemed like a great place to stay weekly. I am very glad I chose this place because it is one of the best mom & pop motels in the area. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The customer service is great and the owner is always responsive and addresses all issues!.

Breakfast is provided as well as a pool table for some nightly entertainment. Coffee and the works for the morning routine.

The rooms are very comfortable with twins and king size beds. It is very clean and well kept on a daily basis. It is quiet and peacefully away from the main busy traffic. I loved staying here and the rates were very affordable! I stayed my duration and moved onward to my own apartment but I recommend this place to anyone working, traveling, or leisure. You cant beat the weekly prices and or just a single night!. I've recommended this to all co workers and any one reading this or passing through should definitely give this place a chance!.

If i didn't find an apartment i would of stayed here for several months.

I’ll start by saying that you won’t find a nicer place to stay. Hands down. I’m from Florida and often visit friends and family in the area. This is a gorgeous, quiet, clean and friendly motel. The pictures do not do it justice. Paige and Brad have put $$$ into beautifying the entire place. The flowers and shade trees are awesome. The back deck and seating is so calm and peaceful. Hummingbirds are always around flitting between feeders. The front porch and ramp have been replaced. Ok that’s just the outside. Inside is cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is available everyday just outside your door. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave in our room was convenient.
