Stratton Creek Inn — Hotel in Town of Newfield

We could not have been happier with our stay at Quinta Rose Estate. The email welcoming included all pertinent details to check in smoothly, and to make our stay as easy as possible. The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. Every detail is considered; from makeup removing wipes, to a small dish by the bed to put jewelery in at night, to extra sheets and blankets. There are both room-temperature and cold water bottles easily accessible at all times. The breakfast was delicious; from the home-baked scones to the eggs laid by the chickens out back. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are perfectly maintained. The fact that Quinta is a family-owned business makes it intimate and unique. We were greeted at check-in by the teenaged daughter and the father was available during breakfast for specific requests like oat milk, which they had. I couldn't recommend Quinta...

We recently stayed at Quinta Rose Estate for three nights. All contact details and directions were really helpful. We were greeted by Tara on arrival and shown to our room which was the Reese Room. Wow, such a beautifully appointed room with gorgeous furnishings. Small touches as chocolates, little quotations on the bedside table. The bathroom was very well appointed and a very large walk in closet. It was such a peaceful location and the grounds were fantastic. The breakfasts were great, home baked scones (delicious) fresh fruits, yoghurts, granola and really really good coffee. Tara even made us up breakfast boxes for us to go when we had to go out very early on a few mornings. I can't thank Tara and Nathan enough. They are amazing hosts and really look forward to...

A friend and I had stopped by for the Open House on Saturday. The first thing that struck me was how spacious the grounds were. Once inside the house, I appreciated the melding of old and new. The owners have highlighted the original features of the house while incorporating modern conveniences. What impressed me the most was how timeless and appropriate the decor was. And it all comes together in a very comfortable and inviting manner. The barn is spacious and sturdy. I noticed it was well preserved. I can see it used for a variety of gatherings and celebrations. The whole place is like a hideaway, yet it is not far from Ithaca.
