Apple Country Retreat — Hotel in Town of Otisco

What an absolutely WONDERFUL experience! No hotel would ever be able to deliver such a warm and cozy stay. My Wife and I stayed here after a concert at Beak and Skiff apple orchards, and we will without a doubt be back again. The upper room is amazing! We were able to see birds flying right past the windows, with an unbelievable view of everything below. The room was nice and cool for us as soon as we arrived (even through the july heat), robes were ready in the bathroom, the bed was super comfy and waiting for us on our pillows? Sleep masks! I can’t recommend this place enough. The owner is the sweetest lady and you can tell she loves what she does. This place has such a homey feel, it’s like when you wake up at your grandmas’ house as a kid and she’s got a big breakfast made for you, these guys REALLY know what they’re doing and I wish nothing but the absolute best for them, everything was perfect. Apple Country Retreat is a hidden gem but for a quite weekend away as well as a sweet, intimate wedding. I photograph 25+ weddings every summer all over NY State and I have found Apple Country one of the most intimate, cozy, unique and well running wedding venues in the area. The suites are comfortably and adorably furnished providing the perfect place for a bridal party and their immediate family members to get ready. (Also don't forget the amazing landscaping around the pool, bar area by the pool and hot tub!) The gazebo and creek down at the end of the lawn is a perfect place for a wedding ceremony. The barn itself with its many staircases and levels, cozy fireplace and couches and rustic decor is really charming. The owner is sweet and accommodating! If your looking for the perfect Getaway look no further. My wife was getting ready to have a Knee replacement done In Syracuse (20 min away). We were looking for a place to stay so she could relax before her surgery and a Place where I could stay while she was in the Hospital. From making the reservation through the end of the stay Marilyn was amazing to deal with. We stayed in the Ginger suite that had every amenity you could ask for and was definition of Country. The retreat has beautiful grounds including a beautiful pool area. a large Hot Tub and a beautiful Dining and Social area.. I did however save the best for last.
