Book at your own risk. Booking process is done via a 3rd party who does the communication. We had a reservation for a month and we spoke to the campground directly and were told to supply a pic of our camper to confirm our reservation. We supplied and asked to contact us via PHONE is anything else was needed as we were driving to that location about 10 hours away (before noon the day of our reservation). We were NOT told that the site was muddy and that we couldn't back in to the lot until the site was dry again NOR that we had a specific time to check in by. We received confirmation thru the 3rd party and proceed to the reservation as planned. When we arrived we could not find the space (bc the map supplied online is not accurate to the actual site locations) and began to back in and got stuck in the soft ground and the back in driveway being only as wide as the camper and truck tires are. After getting stuck, having to pull the camper/truck out, we ultimately had to book another location bc there was not enough room for a 33 ft camper with 2 slide outs and our RAM 3500 (pic was supplied))even if the ground condition were better. We then received a notification from the 3rd party, that the $700 reservation was cancelled and being kept due to the ruts from getting stuck. The owner had emailed us to confirm we had received the email about the site conditions( even after we stated to CALL bc we had no email access) before he confirmed our reservation(with the 3rd party) which we didn't do (bc we had no email access to receive the communication as stated when we sent out pic over of our truck and camper). He is now stating he will be keeping our money for repairs and that we are never welcome again at this property. Be careful with this campground before you book because it is not suitable for larger rigs and the site communication can be difficult for someone using a 3rd party and communicating in different applications versus with you, the camper directly, of anything you may need to know that differs as outlined via the 3rd party communication. He will also say that he told you not to come after dark, when he never spoke to us, as we spoke only to a female representative and she wasn't even able to supply the email address for us to send the pictures to. We had to look that up to even send the pictures to...
Read moreStaff here was contradicting. There is no communication between staff members here. They charge you for everything here and even tried to charge us extra when we showed up for our campsite even after we paid in advance. The old guy with the goatee whose name I cannot remember was lazy, rude and a borderline stalker driving through our site on his ATV multiple times a day to "check" on us. We had an issue with a wasp nest at our campsite. The same guy (staff) was notified that we had a very big paper wasp nest and that 2 of our party were already stung by the wasps. He came to our site and, instead of offering to cut down the nest or move us to a different site, he said "if you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone." We already had 2 people stung at random. Useless and no regard for the safety of their customers. Then he started making jokes about making pet names for the wasps. We ended up cutting the nest down ourselves so nobody else would get stung. They charge you 2 dollars per day per person to use their pool. Their shower/bathroom doors by the office don't close so you cant lock them and anyone can just walk in. I'm all for minimalist camping, but if you offer shower and bathroom facilities and are going to charge 8 dollars for a handful of wood, 2 dollars per person per day for pool access, 15 bucks for a 12 pack of beer, the least you could do is have bathroom doors that close or even an occupied sign to hang on it. I strongly suggest staying clear of this place. There are much better places nearby for the same price or cheaper. The only reason I even gave this a 1 star review is because of the wonderful company of family and friends with us at...
