Old Mill Guest House by Audrey’s Farmhouse. It’s one of my favorite places (its sister property, Audrey’s Farmhouse and Greenhouses is the other), and I decided to share it with some close friends to celebrate my birthday. (Never mind which one, you never ask a woman her age.) I’d always known I’d host an event at their properties, so when the opportunity arose to celebrate, I jumped at it. Old Mill it was. Everything was perfect. Upon arrival, a sign of my celebration was waiting, the rooms stocked with their welcome kits and wine, the fridge with crudite and dips awaited my guests. And the flowers. Big beautiful sunflowers everywhere. My fave. Everyone relaxed in their comfy, well-appointed rooms in the Farmhouse, the Apartment, the cottage, and studio. We wined and dined in the roomy kitchen drinking wine selections from the Audrey’s/Old Mill collection, chit-chatted on the veranda late into a perfectly clear, starry night. Saturday — party day — the relaxing, cool elegant vibe lasted all day and all night. Poolside romps, visits into town. An easy day. Then came cocktail hour with abundant charcuterie, a mix of meats and cheeses, vegetables and crackers, and of course the quince. Only one question about the specialty cocktails: which to have, the Lavender Bees Knees or the Amaro Bubbly? Decisions, decisions. Guests had both. With such a great start, you just knew that the dinner selections (chosen at a tasting months before) would similarly wow. And they did not disappoint. Fresh salad, light and perfectly dressed. Followed by short ribs falling off the bone and salmon perfectly seared accompanied by roasted carrots and haricot vert, again what to have first? You could decide by which wine you wanted to start with, red or white. You couldn’t lose. Dessert offered a perfect ending to an evening of food and friends. Looking for a place to celebrate? Look no further than Old Mill Guest House by Audrey’s Farmhouse.

Old Mill is a beautiful, tucked away property with great views and spaces to use for weddings. The owners are the sweetest people and have incredible tastr when it comes to design. As a wedding photographer - I deeply appreciate the thoughtful design for a covered pergola becasue darlin... it rains alot in the Hudson Valley - so its much prettier than a tent.

Old Mill Guesthouse was a dream venue for us and turned out to be the most epic wedding. The venue managers Matt and Kat are amazing. Every detail was extraordinary, every service person made us feel so special and like true VIPs. Specifically Tom was with us the whole night and day for our every need, he made me laugh and smile the whole time. He set up the most amazing cocktail hour for us in the rec room after our wedding ceremony. The event was run to perfection. Gio and Carlos set up all our rooms and welcome bags and made sure the special ones got to the specific people, that took a huge weight off us.

The venue itself was beautiful and magical, we did not ever want to leave. The pool-perfect and unique. The woods- magical and serine. The pergola- omg no words, the lighting was perfect, the tables, the focal wall, everything. The food was some of the best wedding food I have experienced and our guests said the same.

We ended up renting a tent for our cocktail hour, that was a good move and it was beautiful on this property.

We cannot thank Old Mill enough, we cannot really put in words what it all meant to us. We are so grateful.

We hope to have left some love and magic in those woods for future couples to share in. If you are thinking of booking Old Mill, do it!! You will not be disappointed.

Thanks to the whole Old Mill team, Love...

The most perfect wedding venue!

We had our wedding at Old Mill Guesthouse in September, and it was truly everything we dreamed of...absolutely perfect, beautiful, and elegant in every way. The venue itself is stunning, with so much charm and warmth. Every corner felt picture-perfect, and it created the most magical backdrop for our day.

We mainly worked with Katherine, and she was so wonderful to communicate with. She was kind, responsive, and made the whole planning process feel easy and stress-free. You can tell she really cares about each couple and wants everything to be perfect, and it truly was!

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous the space was and how smoothly everything went. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate. Old Mill Guesthouse was the most perfect setting for our perfect day.

From the moment we first toured the venue, we fell completely in love. The atmosphere was so peaceful and romantic, it just felt right. On our wedding day, standing there surrounded by our loved ones, we couldn’t stop smiling. Every photo, every laugh, every memory feels tied to that beautiful space. Old Mill Guesthouse will always hold such a special place in our hearts, and we’re forever grateful for the magic it brought to our...
