My wife and I stay at Willow Beach all Summer. We have a beautiful lake front site. We can see Toronto across Lake Ontario, sunsets every evening … and if we get up early the sunrise from our deck. Many of the couples that stay here are from the area but have become snowbirds like us, going to Florida in winter. It is a very friendly atmosphere, pot luck dinners, gatherings every evening to watch the sunsets around a campfire. The park has a heated pool, also two Air B&B (cottage on the lake and a house next to the pool). It a quiet and easy going park in a rural setting. There are fruit and vegetable stands close by, excellent restaurants, craft breweries, the towns of Lewiston and Youngstown. Hiking trails down into the Niagara Gorge and up on the rim with spectacular views. Wineries scattered along the Niagara Escarpment, you can pick your own to visit or take one of the tours. Charter fishing for salmon on Lake Ontario, Niagara River and nearby Lake Erie for bass, walleye and...
Read moreNice place, its an older rv park which has been around since at least the 1950s, 50 amp and 30amp service at every pedestal/site, water and sewer hookups at every site as well with Cable TV/Internet and phone also available. More a seasonal snowbird campground with limited transient sites. Situated directly on Lake Ontario and at the mouth of Big Six Mile Creek for fishing and kayaking. Feet from Porter Town Park, 4 Mile Creek State Park, Fort Niagara and Niagara falls. A 45x32 heated swimming pool, large community room with pool and ping pong tables, Foosball, movie nites and ample room to sit and watch massive ships float by. Toronto is visible most days and the offshore breeze is a pleasure on those hazy hot an humid days. Air BnBs on site as well and...
Read moreHate leaving a review like this but unfortunately the current information is misleading. Campground very rundown. All spots were poorly maintained. The “office” was used as a storage building and spots weren’t numbered so didn’t help. Uneven spots with poor(sketchy) utility connections(broken water spigot and very worn out power box). For $75/night I highly recommend you stay elsewhere. Yes it’s on(near) the water but for the same price there are far better options near by. I hope they reinvest their earnings because this ground does...
