A nice and quiet place with limited guests. This allows for you to enjoy maximum quite, fresh air, fresh lake water and grilling. The rooms are cabin style with electricity and heat. They are fully furnished with kitchenette sets along with pots and pans. Each unit gets a gas grill and picnic table but there are plenty of call grills laying around. The place is family owned which is a plus but like many of the renting options in Lake George the style is dated circa 1981. You will be comfortable but it is no lavish but you didn't come there for lavish you came for the extra special spot on the lake this place has and the quiet off the beaten path vibe. When you get there ask all the questions they have things you probably didn't image were offered like a fire pit, row boat, fishing, fresh towel service, etc.. This is no the cheapest place you can stay at but it's a nice break from the everyday and even the crowds on the main strip.

For my experience, this establishment was reminiscent of a resort of the 1970s. However, it has been well renovated. What I mean by a 1970s resort is that it has the homie feel, with the personal touch of the owners, because they live there. It just brought back a lot of memories of my childhood and the many trips with my parents to family-owned resorts like this one. This resort is extremely modern, while holding an old school type feel. So in other words, you won't find any wood paneling on the walls, or any shag carpet anywhere. They don't have to boast that they offer heat, cable TV, or air conditioning either. Because what they do offer in nature's beauty is great tranquility and a personal contentment to be in the Adirondacks.

2year coming here and I still love it! Access to lake. Pricing is good and the people are very friendly can't wait to go back next year and maybe next month.

Due to Covid we decided to cancel our trip this year. Not because that there are a lot of reported cases in LG but because my wife is a nurse and is on the frontline working with Covid patients. I understand the contact states 20% charge if you cancel but the owners of this property could care less about people who are battling this pandemic head on. I was told by the owner that there were no cases in LG so they are fully operational, I tried to explain that we weren't worried about cases there but we are canceling for safety concerns of my wife possibly having it because of working with sick patients. Our main concern was we didn't want to bring it there and possibly get others at this location sick but to him it didn't matter as almost he didn't believe Covid was a real thing. I would have thought that they would have been grateful that we are putting them, their clients and all of LG first before being selfish and just taking our vacation risking spreading anything to anyone. I tried to reason with him asking first for a full refund because of the situation, then asked if he would refund the 20% if and when they rent the unit which they have 2 months to do and if they don't they can keep it and then I asked for just a 10% charge when he kept repeating himself saying there are no cases in LG. Again right over his head and lack of care as to why we are canceling. Do youself a favor and look into other places, for the prices they charge you can go to an all inclusive resort on an island and those resorts care about all of their clients not just the all mighty dollar. If you do go here make sure you get all the information on what their cleaning process is because they will have people in there from all over and you don't know who has what, I ser they stated they added more chairs for social distancing but wouldn't you want to remove chairs for social distancing?? I think this place is backwards and needs to understand the situation and their clients better, especially...

We have booked the resort for 4 days (7/9-7/13, 2019) and paid 2 days deposit. Then during the house purchasing we are dealing with that weekend, we have to postpone one day. I have replied the email to Craig on Sunday and called him on Monday to tell him we need to postpone the trip due to delay transaction. In the beginning, he said July 12 has been sold, you don't have the 4th day to stay and you can't postpone it at all, you have to pay it even no one reserve. I said then I will try to come with my daughter but stay 3 nights, but he said you still have to pay the 4th day even it sold to someone else, then he got very mad and hang off my phone.

I have never saw any hotel/resort owner with such rude manner and bad business style. (Certainly you don't want to have a good relationship with the customer who might come over to your resort again whatever) and I am 7 month old pregnant and with 3 year old toddler, I DON NOT FEEL SAFE to travel to his property after he spoke to me such rudely (I didn't raise my voice or anything, I just simply discuss the possibility which most hotel/resort who works with human could do). You don't know what gonna happen in his property if we didn't please him~ So we didn't go, he charged us $540 deposit.

This is our lesson but I really want to warn people who has young children, please be aware of this owner Craig! It doesn't worth your vacation to a...

The four of us booked this resort and stayed July 2020 for one week. Checked in at 3pm on a Saturday. Owners Craig and Annie were pleasant and very accommodating. We booked the boathouse. It had two bedrooms, living room area , small kitchen with a table for four. TV included. Bathroom had a stand up shower. Very Clean. We had 3 window air conditioning units. The beds were very comfortable, you bring your own sheets and bedding supplies. We brought with us 3 coolers of food and drinks. We had a refrigerator and electric stove also. Private small beach to share with resort guest only, chairs and picnic table included. We brought our own beach chairs just in case. Live entertainment on Tuesdays and Thursdays out by the firepit on the beach area. Very nice, we sat on our balcony and could hear and see everything nicely. Throughout our stay, Annie check on us to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything. We were able to fish from the dock of our boathouse. I caught a large mouth bass about 5-8 lbs. AMAZING, lots of sunnys and baby large mouth bass also. We definetly fish catch and release. There is a bait store at the end of the road. I just used worms. They supply bath towels and toilet paper, you bring everything else. free internet. Highly recommend this resort. My friend is taking her sister in October for 4 days. we were able to do daily excursions throughout Lake...
