Amazing and unforgettable place for a family reunion. It has a pool and hot tub surrounded by tall forest trees, many grills and fire pits (perfect for bqq and smores), bikes, a goat farm (kids enjoyed feeding the goats), a badminton court, tether ball, a horse barn, wooden swings and benches throughout, lily pond with mini waterfalls (so peaceful), plenty of board games, and more.
The cabins are decorated with so much character and it’s so comfortable! Some rooms in the Lodge didn't have curtains, so it was nice to wake up to the sunlight. (it could be too bright for those who want to sleep in during vacation) We stayed here with family for 5 days/4 nights.
There were some water issues (which was inconvenient for our basic needs such as cooking & restrooms for a short moment), but it was out of the owner's control (a pump needed replacement) and they were super responsive and did their best to resolve as quickly as possible. (therefore the drop from 5 stars to 4.5 stars) But other than that, everything else was perfect and I would highly recommend this place. On our last day before checking out, the owner brought a bag of warm apple...

The second visit was EPIC! We did a private buyout and threw a bachelor party with about 20 guys. It was perfect - we lounged by the pool, hung in the hot tubs, played bocce ball, had epic BBQs & bonfires, etc. The owners Marc & Casey even helped us plan an awesome scavenger hunt that spanned across the entire acre property which is huge.
The bachelor didn't know what to expect as most of it was a surprise - he was absolutely blown away and still talks about it 2 years later. I'd very much recommend staying at Grateful Woods to anyone. The owners Marc & Casey are A+++ people (and their dogs...
Read moreWhat an incredibly magical place! We stayed here for our wedding with our close friends and family, and it was an amazing experience. The grounds are so beautiful, and every single room on the property is meticulously decorated. The communal areas on the property are thoughtfully laid out so that 30+ guests can comfortably eat or sit by the pool together, but also retreat to their respective areas and feel a sense of quiet and privacy. Marc and Casey (owners) were very communicative, accommodating, and laid back. Our stay was perfect, I wouldn't have...
