My husband and I visited to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was not what we had hoped. Upon arrival, the hostess was a bit abrupt, which made for an awkward first impression. We were allowed onto the grounds 45 minutes prior to our reservation, which we appreciated. The misty weather didn’t dampen our spirits—we enjoyed sitting by the campfire and having snacks. The wooded grounds were beautiful and exactly the atmosphere we were looking for, even in the rain.
However, the accommodations themselves were disappointing. Mina and Rich (two of the LOVELIEST people I have ever met!) have cultivated what I can only describe as pure magic here at Bellfire. I’ve done quite a bit of outdoorsy travel, from camping to glamping and everything in between and I can confirm that the beauty, peace, quiet, joy, and magic found here are singular to Bellfire and Bellfire alone. Over the years, I’ve come to call Bellfire my happiest place, so much so that I don’t even leave the property when I stay (although there is plenty to do nearby if you choose to explore!). From waking up to birdsongs to sitting by the campfire under a sky full of stars to watching the most incredible sunrise you’ve ever seen, Bellfire is a different kind of special that will leave a mark...
