For those unfamiliar with the area, if you're seeking a slice of paradise while still on Earth, this is it! Nestled in a tranquil area, with the soothing sounds of a picturesque creek and a serene lake. Complete with a fire pit, barbecue, and large porch – just bring your coffee, tea, wine or a good book, and bask in its beauty. A few weeks back, we enjoyed a weekend here and we're returning for Easter, and guess what? July Fourth weekend is booked too, with more friends in tow. We've been loyal guests at this resort for 25 years, witnessing its transformation before and after renovations. It's like a whole new world! The cottages boast a tasteful rustic charm, with vaulted ceilings, cozy wall accents, and brand-new kitchens. Nadine, the owner, has truly cultivated a homey atmosphere that keeps drawing us back. The two-bedroom cottages magically turn into three with the addition of a cozy loft/bedroom. It's amazing how different everything looks now. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Valleywood Acres Inn & Cottages, and it truly was a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nestled alongside a serene river, the inn offers breathtaking views that are perfect for relaxation and reflection.

The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the tranquil view from my Adirondack chair. Each morning, I found myself captivated by the gentle flow of the river as I settled in to meditate. It was a divine experience, allowing me to connect with nature in a way that felt both calming and inspiring.

Working remotely from the deck of my cottage was an absolute delight. With my laptop in tow, I enjoyed the soothing sounds of the water flowing nearby, which served as the perfect backdrop to my tasks. The peaceful ambiance made it easy to focus, and I found myself looking up frequently to appreciate the natural beauty surrounding me.

A new era of revival has begun at Valleywood Acres!!! Raj and Nadine purchased the property of recent, and to our surprise, the cabins are completely transformed into a magical experience. Their attention to detail is astounding, from the decorative moss adorning a bed’s headboard to the dreamy ambiance they’ve created. They are clean, inviting and each one with a unique motif. They all have modern luxuries, sorely missing in previous years. The lake, once reduced to mudflats, is now full, alive and inviting again. The fire pits, surrounded by beautiful Adirondack chairs, beckon you to sit and relax. We are overjoyed that the cabins have been reborn, offering an exciting and revitalized vacation experience.
