Whiskey Creek Family RV Park is a true gem for families looking for a memorable camping experience. Our stay here exceeded all expectations, and we can't wait to return!
First and foremost, the cleanliness of the facilities is outstanding. The bathrooms are some of the best we've ever seen at a campsite, with spotless conditions and a constant supply of hot water. This level of cleanliness extended throughout the entire park, making our stay incredibly comfortable.
The family aqua park is another highlight. It's not only pristine but also features a fun obstacle course that kept our kids entertained for hours. The availability of kayaks added an extra layer of excitement and adventure to our stay. The swimming hole area is well-maintained, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
The kids' park and jumping pad are equally impressive. The equipment is in excellent condition, and it's clear that the staff take great pride in keeping everything in top shape. Our children had an absolute blast and couldn't get enough of the activities available.
Speaking of the staff, they are some of the kindest and most helpful people we've encountered on our travels. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and were always available to assist with any questions or concerns.
Overall, Whiskey Creek Family RV Park is a perfect destination for families. From the pristine bathrooms to the Aqua park and the well-maintained kids' areas, everything about this campsite is designed to create a fantastic family experience. Highly...
Read moreI stayed at Whiskey Creek for a total of 11 days while visiting family in the area. I have to say that I am very impressed with the owner operators of this park. Extremely friendly and will bend over backwards to help you in any way they can. The park is relatively new (about a year old) so the trees are all too small1 to provide much shade but that does not detract from the stay there at all. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit and are all well maintained and level. The main building where the office is located has a covered pavilion area with picnic tables (also served as a stage for the two man band that played for the fourth of July) and the main bathrooms which are very clean and well maintained. There is a smaller building at the other end of the park by the lake that has another set of bathrooms. The small lake is set up with a lot of water toys such as water slides, etc and a great place for kids and adults to swim and play on hot summer days. There is also a playground for the kids and a communal area around a firepit to gather at night and enjoy a...
Read moreFirst off, the lake is beautiful and well taken care of. If you are looking to just go somewhere to swim, then this is the place for you. If you are camping and want that "camping" type atmosphere, I suggest you go elsewhere. It's basically a wide open parking lot with no privacy and your site is about as wide as a camper. That's it. The "regular seasonal" campers are basically like their watch dogs and watch you like a hawk. The owners/employees drive around and monitor you 24/7. Telling someone they are doing something wrong is okay. Or that they are in violation of a rule is totally acceptable but to send multiple people over throughout the weekend to basically yell at us rather than speak to us like a grown adults is not okay. Just because you are older, doesn't give you the right to speak to people like they are less than you. So if your looking for a place to have fun with your friends, I'd go elsewhere. Also make sure you read the 4,678 rules becuase you will get attacked and targeted all weekend if you happen to miss one or two. Highly...
