Location is right off Route 20 and easily visible even at night. It was also surprisingly quiet for being near Route 20. The room, bathroom and linens were all very clean and the room was well kept and very tidy. There was a sliding glass door in the back of the room that allowed for good airflow with the window open. ||The owner, Austin, was great to work with, easygoing, open to communication and as accommodating as he could possibly be. I have a severe sensitivity to chemicals, odors and fragrances that results in a severe asthma attack when encountered. Austin was very understanding and did his best to work with me by removing anything fragranced from the room prior to our arrival, aired it out to the best of his ability and washed the linens in just water after their normal wash cycle to try to minimize the scent from the laundry soap, I believe he even did the same with the curtains.||Unfortunately, my allergies were still too reactive to the fragrances that remained and I was unable to stay for the entire duration scheduled. Again, Austin was very understanding and accommodating when cutting our stay short was the end result. So while I was not able to stay as long as intended, the experience overall was still a positive one. Thank you Austin for your kindness and understanding, those are qualities I don't often encounter with my disability, hopefully one day I will be able to try...

The Meadowlark Inn is a diamond in the rough.|My wife and I agree that we probably would have driven past it ( in fact we did even though we were looking for it) as it's a pretty unassuming little place and we are generally chain hotel people. We were coming from the east end of upstate NY and were heading to Cooperstown so we wanted something fairly close and since we are procrastinators most places were booked. We saw the reviews and decided to call. Fortunately there was a room available and we took it. So glad we did. We decided to stay two nights to do Cooperstown one day and the Rail Riders the next.||Austin, the owner, made us feel welcomed and was happy to help with any questions we had. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Large and well stocked. Had a minor glitch with the internet but it was fixed very quickly. The breakfast was wonderful with lost of beverage choices, local fruit and Austin making waffles. He really is a great host and want's to make sure your stay is pleasant. |The grounds are great though we didn't take advantage of them. There is a nice big gazebo out back and a fire pit and he's even got a small baseball diamond for the kids to play on as they get a lot of families staying with them whose kids are playing tournaments nearby.|I can't recommend The Meadowlark Inn enough. Austin made that part of out...

I don’t usually review places but I was so impressed with Austin and the Meadowlark Inn that I felt compelled. We only stayed for 1 night on our travels through Copperstown but Austin made us feel so welcome! When we arrived he was out back playing baseball with some of the kids staying and he spent time talking to my kiddos—made them feel really comfortable. The rooms are so clean. The beds are comfortable and firm (a must with my family!). Austin had an adorable welcome basket for the kids and there were tons of things of yard games and various sports to play in the backyard—we had a fun game of family badminton and baseball. I only wish that we were staying longer. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options including waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, various toast/bagel and cereal. Great spot for families! I would go out of my way to stay here again. Thank you Austin!

The Meadowlark Inn is amazing! It is way more than a hotel--it is an unforgettable experience! With very comfortable and spacious rooms it is a great place to relax and recharge. The homemade waffle breakfast with fresh berries and homemade maple syrup made breakfast something to look forward to The inn also has so many things to do- baseball, ping pong, ax throwing, hammocking to name a few. There is a covered pavillion with picnic tables and bbq grills. Lots of beautiful scenery and things to do in the area. Delicious local food options! This would be an amazing place to host a family reunion or to stop by for a day or two. And best of all the Innkeeper rocks!

I stayed at The Meadowlark Inn recently and it was a very pleasant experience. Booking and check-in was really easy. Plenty of parking. Clean, comfortable rooms. I liked that the rooms had a second entry opening onto the back porch. The beds in my room were on the firmer side. The owner, Austin, was great and offered recommendations on places to eat and things to do in the area. If I am ever back in the area I will stay here again. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
