I love going to camp every year! Literally every time I come home after the week at camp I cry because I realize that I have to wait another whole year to go again. I highly recommend this camp. My friends and I have made so many memories here. There are so many extraordinary activities to do, and you will NEVER be bored (the blob is usually a hook, it is an inflated "blob" in the lake that makes someone go flying off of it when someone jumps off of a platform onto it). Acorns, a hang out place, is such a fun and cool place to hang out after chapel every night. Everyone is there so you can meet new people. There are also game nights where the whole camp plays games like Clue, acting as if the whole camp is the game board, and other games like that. I feel very safe and at home here. Don't worry, there are family, school, and church retreats, and you can also go with your friends. For kids, there are week long trips in the summer, or weekend trips...
Read moreJust spent an amazing few days there with my daughter’s 5th grade Outdoor Education. I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff there for truly caring about making the student’s experience memorable and fun. John, the “Soup Guy”, was quickly a favorite amongst the kids for his Cheddar Broccoli Soup song. In fact, my daughter informed me the kids were still singing it back at school. The employees working the zipline and rock tower were incredibly patient and encouraged my daughter to overcome her fear and achieve goals she had set for herself. The team building challenges were fun as well as archery, leatherwork, and, of course, horseback riding. There was so much more we enjoyed (wilderness survival, and animal encounters to name a couple). All in all, Camp Timberlee was an experience I was grateful to be a part of and I just wanted to say thank you to the staff for striving to make it the awesome experience...
Read moreI went there when I was a kid. I just googled the address and there it is. The best time I ever had was here. I rode my first horse there. I learned Bible verses that I can recite to this day. I'm 33 years old , I think I was around 10 or 11 when I went. I remember going swimming and "the blob" that was a giant balloon in the water that canapolted you in the water when sitting on it after someone jumps on it. There was arts and crafts, canteen to get smacks at. The food was really really good. I feel I was so lucky to be there. It taught me life lessons and values that I still use today. We lit fires and talked about everything. There was top notch medical staff there. I just had a blast and wanted to share this information that I think about all the time. I'm so glad this place is still doing it's thing. I'm signing my kids up for it. I wonder if I can join them too. That would be...
