We absolutely love going to Point Beach State Park and this place is one of our absolute favorites. The park is clean and well maintained and there is so much to do here. Everything from bike riding to walk in the beach to having a picnic. The place is peaceful and would it be considered one of my favorite getaways. There is even ice cream from Cedar Creek offered here during the summer with plenty of flavors to choose from. They even offer the ice cream in a bowl all the way up to a waffle cone. We have camped here too and I highly recommend this place. We enjoy coming up here with friends as well from sunrise to sundown pick your fancy and enjoy your day here!! Highly...

Came here for brunch and ice cream while camping. Superb! We even had discussions of not planning meals next time we come camping (the most stressful part) and just coming here twice per day! Walking distance from the campsites. Great friendly service behind the counter. Following safe Covid protocol (limiting people inside the building, masks, plexiglass barrier, etc). Plenty of spaced out seating outside near the lake. Our expectations for the food wasn't high, but they definitely impressed us with the quality and portion sizes. Went back a few times while we were there, and plan to be back...

I've been coming to this building since the '60's. The concession options have waxed and waned through the years. It's always been a very cool building from the old CCC days. Most people who stay in the park are glampers. They aren't here to sleep on the ground. Need basic supplies, some quick hot food. There was pizza last time I was there. There is an array of ice cream. Sign says fish fry on Fridays. Very rustic ambiance with the mandatory fire place. Right on the lake for a beautiful view. Ample parking and a place worth checking out. You'll find something and you won't have to go...

I checked it out a while back, hoping to see the northern lights. It was dark, so it was hard to tell how the beach area was, but from what I could see, it was a nice area. I recommend checking it out. Oh, and I did get to see the northern lights. It was absolutely beautiful. If it happens again, I highly recommend going to point beach state park. The parking lot is lit up by the bathrooms, but if you go to the other end of the parking lot, it's perfect for looking at the stars, northern lights, or just enjoying an evening walk by the water

Nice place to grab some chow, forgotten camping equipment or even souvenirs or even better some ice cream. They have a nice large parking lot there and even a fire place for at night I'm guessing as well as some nice views of the lake near by and regular toilets with running water, there definitely worth a look, oh and if you're looking for camp activities they have some really cool wood kits to paint on your free time

This is a nice beach with plenty of hiking. There is a lighthouse, but you are not allowed to get too close to it. There is a dog beach, and we saw lots of dogs with their people there. There is a playground. It's kind of old, but it's okay. There are restrooms. There are picnic tables, and there is a concession stand which sells 16 flavors of cedar crest ice cream.
