The Landing Campground — Hotel in Town of Vienna

I only rate this place a 2 based on my specific situation. Family of 6 rented a cabin for 3 nights. We booked it months in advance and drove 6 hours to meet up with another family. No bathroom in cabin, which would have been fine except the communal bathroom is downright dirty. The same mud on the shower floor for days. It was tough to get dressed and undressed without our clothes getting a mud bath. The cabin had no table in it to eat when it's raining outside, or for bfast in the morning. It would be ok for a couple, but this is not a family spot. If you're looking for a "cabin" to rent for the family.... this isn't it. If you're looking for a weekend camping getaway with your partner.... I'll give it 3 stars. You can do WAY better. To be fair.... It seemed very nice for RV Camping. My parents have camped here for over 20 years. We put our camper here for the summer of 2021 and due to moving we have not been out very much. The owners Susan and George seem to feel comfortable taking every dollar for our seasonal campsite and not refund any of our money. Then too add to it, we were there a week and a half ago to mow the lawn. Since then campers have stolen our hose, plastic tables and a refrigerator!! Susan wants to say my brother took it. Mind you my brother has not been there in a month and he would NOT take our family's stuff from our camper. Susan is also charging the people who bought our camper 870.00 a month when we have already paid for the site in full for the season! I will be reporting these crooks to the BBB. DO NOT...

The park is right on the river and very close to town. Oneida Lake is less than 2 miles away. The owner is very nice and friendly. The park is very quite even on weekends. The parking spots are on grass so when it rains it is a mess. Otherwise they were fine. We travel full time so we use laundry facilities and this one was not good. Machines were OK but the room was very dirty. 2 washers and 2 driers. Don't drop any closes. Cold water wash only. Bathroom are off limits unless an emergency. Most the park was full time people.
