Up North Resort and Campground — Hotel in Town of Wascott

Rented 5 of the cabins with 5 total families, and we had a wonderful weekend together. We couldn't get over how clean and well equipped each cabin is. Our cabin (#1) had a slow cooker, tons of pots to cook with, every utensil we needed, cups, plates, coffee maker, coffee filters, fridge, oven, microwave, etc. And a wonderful sitting area outside, with a picnic table, lawn chairs, and a grill.

We really liked the location of cabin 1, as it was a bit out of the way and extra quiet, but an easy walk to the beach. The beach was so clean and all of our kids had a wonderful time playing.

It was very easy to rent boat slips. The lake was SO quiet; we didn't see many other boats, and it was easy to kayak on. It was also great fishing!

I went to view a camper out there to see if it would be a good fit for my family and there were knocked down trees all over and in their road ways from a storm that happened well over two weeks ago. I spoke to some campers and they said Brian (owner) was at the bar and seemed to care less about cleaning up debris to make Up North somewhat presentable.
