My husband and I spent a week staying at the Hideaway. What a lovely place with a gorgeous view! The entire suite was immaculate and it was clear the owners put a lot of thought into designing the guesthouse and having everything needed for out of town guests. I appreciated all of Ellie’s thoughtfulness with a bottle of wine, chocolates, and bottled water in our suite. It was also wonderful having our own washer and dryer and she had everything needed including detergent. The bathroom was beautiful with a large glass shower and jetted garden tub. Not knowing the area, there was a ton of information available in the suite regarding restaurants, places of interest, and things to do in and around the area.
The deck is beautiful, overlooking the river and mountains. It was lovely to have breakfast on the deck in the morning. And, we enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit while drinking our wine and enjoying the view. I would highly recommend staying at the Hideaway and we look forward to...
Read moreWhen we came across the Hideaway in our search for a vacation rental, we were drawn to everything about it; location, scenic views, anticipated stillness and silence, and of course, the cottage itself. We were NOT disappointed! It was perfect. The Hideaway was the ideal getaway for solitude (reading, meals on the porch, mornings down by the river), and yet was also a perfect location for several day trips (Bozeman, Big Sky, Helena). Further, the owners, Ellie and Bill, are meticulous, in the nice arrival touches for your visit, but also the landscape, the decor, and communication. They truly want you to have a restful, restorative, and enjoyable vacation. Oh, and should anyone have plans for more than two adults (as in our situation with our adult daughters), the Sacajawea in Three Forks was ideal for sharing a vacation without sharing the room. Thank you Ellie and Bill for allowing us a memorable and much...
Read moreThe hideaway is worth every penny! My husband and I are from Michigan and were only staying for a short time for a wedding. We wanted to get as much of the Montana experience as we could get in our short stay and this place definately had everything we were looking for. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Ellie sent us lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit which was helpful. There is a really cool dam that is down the road that she had mentioned. They had a lot of informational books that were handy for different birds and animals we saw. The weather wasn’t the greatest the whole time we were here but that didn’t even matter because the beauty was still all there. Plus we were able to stay in and relax which we never get to do and this place made it VERY easy to feel relaxed and at home. I would recommend the...
