We stayed here for two nights to celebrate Valentine’s Day and a birthday while skiing Stratton during the day. It was a wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful stay with nice accommodations. Our room was spacious with big windows, a fireplace, free-standing bathtub, large shower, etc. The innkeeper was kind and attentive as well. It was a quintessential Vermont inn and the perfect quaint & cozy place to stay for our trip. We will absolutely be back in the future, hopefully during the summer next time!

If you like snow, mountains and skiing this hotel is definitely for you. It is located in the mountains, the nature is really pretty there. The hotel is amazing, location is great, wifi. Clean, nice and comfy. French design attracts me! Unbelievable. The closest mountain to ski is only 15 mins away by car. I’ve spend 3 days there with my family and It was a great time.If you are planning to go to Vermont l would definitely advise to stop here! Highly satisfied! Thanks

We booked a room for a girls’ weekend getaway and it was just perfect. The room is so cozy and the view from our porch is stunning! There was no front desk and all check-in information was communicated via texts. The continental breakfast was less than satisfactory and the milk seemed to be a bit sour. Another downside is that the wifi connection is intermittent.

My husband and I did not have a good experience. The wifi was down our entire 3 day stay, and there are no televisions in the rooms. We did not have hot water, or good water pressure. We we called reception to let inquire about the lack of hot water and wifi, we were told the wifi had been reset and when the inn is booked and everyone is using the water, the inn runs out of hot water. Our breakfast all three mornings was great, our dinner in the dining room, however, was terrible. We ordered the pork belly for appetizer and the duck for our entree. The pork belly was charred, and the duck was so tough you couldn't cut into it, and we ordered it as chef recommeded. Rachel, the Innkeeper, sadly to say, was not at all helpful. We had our bags at the sidewalk up to the Inn, and instead of helping us with our bags, she walked right around them. No one offered to help us with our bags. On top of that, there was black ice on the walk up to the Inn. It was treacherous, and no one seemed to care. My husband and I stay in Relais & Chateau's all over the world, and honestly, we do not feel this Inn is in the par of a Releais & Chateau property. We were sorely disappointed. And, lastly, upon checkout with Rachel, (the Innkeeper), she never once asked how our stay was. We would have been happy to say what made our experience less than the level of a Relais & Chateau standard. The Inn is mis managed, and Rachel seemed very unbothered,...

The property has pretty nice rooms. It’s in a quiet spot that is fine enough, if not picturesque.

After we had made our non-refundable reservation we were informed that “we work Airbnb style because there is no front desk”. “No desk” I understand, but Little did I realize that there was no service at all.

We arrived very late (we had notified them earlier in the day) only to find that the bed did not have a full set of sheets. I had been alerted that “service” was only available by text after 8pm.

As I said, it was late when we arrived. Once we discovered that we did not have a full set of (2) sheets, I texted, and waited… and texted,…and waited. I received no response.

Frankly, I don’t expect that every hotel washes their blankets for each new traveler so we finally went to bed in our clothes. We were so put off that We did not bother to stay for the breakfast.

I never, even the next day, received a response. Felt more like an AirBnB than a hotel to me. Service? No. I guess at this “hotel” You’re...

Avoid this hotel. They charge luxury hotel rates and offer no service, and horrible service when a person is involved.

While staying there, we texted a question to the number they gave us for the innkeeper and received no response. The innkeeper on staff stumbled into the lobby, visibly drunk on a Friday night, and they were just playing video games on their laptop the rest of the time. When I asked for recommendations on the "hikes" on the property, they told me to just walk out into the pasture...FYI, there are no actual hikes as they indicate on their website.

We also had them ship an important package that arrived late at the hotel home to us. We are a week from when it arrived in VT, and still no indication when it will get to us. It took them 4 days to actually ship it (by that time it was the weekend), so it will now not make it to our home in time for the reason we needed it.

Stay somewhere,...
