So this is the first time I’ve found myself hesitating to write a review. You ever find something special, and you think for a moment I wish I could keep this to myself, but it’d feel wrong to not share. Well here’s that moment. Stay at Solitude Pointe and you will pleasantly surprised as how much you want to tell everyone and yet keep it to yourself. From the moment we were in town, we received a pleasant text message from the owner, that the cabin was ready for us and to come on in! We left lunch at the Opry up the road and headed back to the location and upon pulling in even one week past peak color and this place is still picture perfect! The roads through the campground are paved and smooth, directions easy to follow. The cabins are labeled and easy legible by names on front. Upon opening the door to the cabin you are greeted by a lovely screened in porch with Adirondack chairs and a lovely hot tub(yes screaming my name and clean and ready to go) Now opening the door to the cabin interior was equally pleasing to the eyes, such perfect use of space and perfect size for two people! The furnishings were ample and comfortable and they did not miss a beat with the things I would need. Please see shared photos, this place is sooooooo perfect in every letter of the word. Also a nice note with a chonky book of things to do/eat/see local and further away in each direction. We did not get a chance to stop at the store but I wish we had. So if you are looking for peace and quiet, then your look is over.

As a seasoned camper I can tell you this place is second to none! I had the pleasure of staying two months at Solitude Pointe in my 28' bumper pull Toyhauler. The site had all the amenities; 15/30/60 amp service, convenently placed sewer hookup, trash, playground and basketball cort, laundry, Bathroom and shower facilities. I found the store to be well stocked and very resonable priced, they have clothing, fire wood, snacks, drinks, fishing supplies and a good assortment of rv supplies. We were informed prior to arrival that GPS would only get us close to the campground' and given directions fo4 the road signs making it easy for us to find. Once we arrived and checked in we were escorted to our site and assisted in parking' leveling and setup. I found all sites to be spacious with natrual boundries seperating them. I came to this area for the nature and remote location. I found beautiful hikes and great fishing. Many things contributed to making my stay at solitude point very memorable, a personal best browntrout, lots of rainbow trout within walking distance, sliding down the hill after a snow storm but nothing tops the friends I made there!

Over the last 13 years we have stayed with Rodney & Amy many times. This past weekend we were there again in a cabin named MOOSE - celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. It was perfection in every way. The cabin was immaculate...so clean (my Mama used to say "so clean you could eat off the floor!"), furnished in cabin-themed furnishings (love the MOOSE blanket!), and romantic - a heart of rose petals on the bed, chocolates & organic cider, two plush towels embroidered with the "Solitude Pointe". Rodney built a wonderful campfire Saturday night and Amy held a time of devotions on Sunday morning - open to any camper who wanted to attend. Nestled in the woods, just 45 minutes from Brevard, NC, 20 minutes to Raven Falls, 30 minutes to the top of Caesars Head, lots of great hiking! They have a private dock where you can fish as well as a hiking trail around the campground. You must stay here on your next camping adventure...you'll never want to stay anywhere else.

Our 2nd time visiting Solitude Pointe. We needed an "Insanity Break". With all the craziness around us these days, we chose Solitude Pointe to hide away! We booked a cabin, and it was so nice...comfortable, quiet and spotless. We found the cabin lodging much more affordable compared to most hotel rooms, and we got so much more! The hot tub was a big hit after a day if site seeing and hiking. And it too was spotless, with clean white hot tub towels provided. Rod and Amy have gone to great lengths to ensure their guests are provided the very best and safest in accommodations. The popcorn welcome note was sweet! We were thrilled to meet Lila, a new addition to the greeting committee. We found it so nice hearing the sounds of children laughing and playing at the playground, a basket ball bouncing at the court. And seeing folks out walking, with and without pets, or relaxing around their fire rings at the RV camp sites, everyone just enjoying the fresh air and beautiful weather. We hiked to Sassafras Mountain observation area, Twin Falls; and then visited a chocolatier and had lunch in Brevard, NC...all within a 30 minute drive. These are things we tend to take for granted in our lives, and then one day, it's gone. Solitude Pointe provides a place where you can go and find your life again, while enjoying nature. You'll see how special this place is the moment you drive through the gates to Solitude Pointe. You can go for a short stay, or longer, but just check it out online and GO! We will definately be regular visitors here! Thanks...

Awesome, Outstanding, and perfect!!!

Rodney and Amy were exceptional hosts. My wife and I stayed a week at their campground, and had nothing less than a exceptional time. We called the reccomended 10 minutes prior to arriving, Rodney and Kenny met us at the site as we pulled up, they got us backed in and that's where the excellent customer service started. I had an issue with the camper during our trip there and had to order parts while we were there, Rodney delivered them to our site as soon as they arrived, doesn't sound like a big deal but us flat landers were still acclimating to the hills. We took full advantage of the dock and creek, the fishing was excellent. They have a very nice hiking trail that we also enjoyed. They also have a lot of helpful items and souvineers in the office store. Throughout the week we took advantage of the peace and quiet of the campground and several of the local parks and hiking trails, plus they provided us a book of attractions that they put together that gave us a couple of destinations we didn't know about. We did not use the laundry or showers but they were extremely clean and we'll kept. I unplugged for the week as Verizon service was not good , my wife on the other hand utilized the Wi-Fi with no issues. I could go on and on about how great our experience was and I commend them on the amount of time they spent updating, cleaning, and maintaining they did to the facilities while we were there.

A great big THANK YOU!!! We...
