Large and well manicured park. A bit confusing at first. Multiple entrances to the different sections. After hours, check-in process took me a while to understand. Typical military inconvenience. Great dog park and dog walking area. Very clean. Inexpensive. All these benefits, make it easy to tolerate the incredibly negative staff. I greet them every day with smiles and pleasantries, no response🤣. Fascinating. Nothing much to complain about other than the main gate right next to the park is closed on the weekends and you have to drive all the way around to the Swan gate. Weekdays the gate near the park is open. The base itself has lots of amenities. At this time, Walmart still has better prices than the commissary. A little disappointing, but $29 a night for full hook ups in this well manicured park is awesome!

Spent 4 nights at Boneyard Vista on Davis Monthan Air Force Base, and my wife and I thought it was one of the nicest campgrounds we'd stay in since starting our trip on Sept 1, 2022. (we've seen a lot of campgrounds). The old campground is across from the new sites, and the old simply has dirt roads and older hookups. The new side has paved roads, gravel sites, a nice little dog park, and a whole bunch of basic campsites without hookups. Staff is friendly, the whole area is nice and clean, it's quiet, and you have a tremendous view of all the airplanes packed away for storage on the base. If you get a chance I suggest getting a site on the ends of the rows in the new campground; they have a little more space with nice landscaping and plants.

More on the pricey side of FamCamps - Agave Gulch does have some perks and some weaknesses. Some perks are: great staff, good location, tons of areas to walk dogs, dog park, dog wash area, and free coffee 24/7. Some cons include: sketchy, and some services like coin machines stay out-of-order for extended periods of time. The situation is first come first served; however, there are plenty of dry spots to stay in until a spot opens with full service. Been here during the busiest time and the dry camp never fills up so the no reservation thing should not scare you - just be patient. Overall good location trumps the aging amenities.

We have been in and out of here for a couple Months. When we first got here in December we got a spot with electricity etc. we then left and camped elsewhere and came back several times and never got electricity but always got water and sewer so they were pretty full in Jan and Feb. the RV office staff are excellent. They have reasonable office hours. They do some reactionary activities like potlucks. They keep guests informed of any news. I think some campers like to hang out in the office eat popcorn watch TV and chat. Kinda like a Cheers atmosphere. They are upgrading a large section for power and can’t say when it’ll be done. As a result you may likely be in a spot wo electricity and surrounded with generators some of which run 24/7 and others are very loud construction cheapos and others are loud diesels. If there are quiet hours in the overflow or no electric sites they are ignored and unenforced. But it’s easy enough to park elsewhere in the overflow just keep your ears open when finding a spot if you don’t want the noise. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly and pleasant. I must say I am very impressed with the cleaning lady. She does a superior job and should teach all fam camps how to clean. This is the best for cleanliness at least on the women’s side and she does a superior job! Dog wash is nice but bring your own supplies. Dog potty stations are kept up well. The base exchange is great and commissary too. There is an Amazon locker in base too. You can get Amazon deliveries if you know your spot otherwise use the locker. Security is invisible for me and there seem to be very loud cars on base and base security won’t touch them unless they catch them. Maintenace folks I see in their golf carts. But After weeks being here, I don’t see anyone working on this power upgrade which is knocking out power to a ton of sites during height of snowbird season. Do the upgrade in the off season why doncha? The dog park is decent and has his shade and is far from most campers. Lots of decent walking paths. My dogs hate walking in the gravelly road and find any pieces of concrete they can. Laundry prices went up due to folks washing stuff like dog blankets supposedly. Campers have all been nice that we met. Wifi was adequate in overflow sites but seems pretty spot talking to folks. In any case we appreciate staying here and overall Like it and keep coming back but some little things could be easily improved. It sure would be nice to get some power after staying here for several days and waiting Our turn in overflow but We did eventually get power. Things have been pretty full until the air show weekend March 24 then started seeing a lot more vacancies and it’s...

Tried to call, numerous times with no answer. The day we arrived was right before office was scheduled to close. But, staff must have closed the office early and left. They closed early almost every day. With first-come, first-serve there's no way to check in except to overflow after office hours. Which was $15. Walmart parking lot is free. Lol Filled out overnight after-hours check-in as instructed. Noting time of arrival. But, if you are not the first person in the door when the office opens in the morning then others getting there before staff arrives and hangs out in loung are placed before you on wait list. As retired female, older retired men stepped in front of us at front desk and interrupted as if they had privilege above us. This happened almost every day.

One young female at office was great, quick service. But, she was the exception. No camp host. Most office staff was pretty clueless. Getting a 50amp spot would have taken weeks. No wifi. Office internet was slower than using our phone as a "hot spot". Showers could be cleaner. The only reason score is not lower is cheap laundry and that one particular office staffer. Traveling for work which means sort of stuck with this as the only...

IRT your camp host Jerry L Allen I Thought I was through with Davis Monthan when we left over two years ago. We had a terrible experience just because we tried help a couple of down and out campers who we're not in the social clique and were looked down on by many including a camp host who saw them, not as the reason for his job but as an interference to it. These guests were chastised at DM because they were in old RVs and experiencing allot of personal problems. One was a retired Navy veteran suffering terribly from PSD another near 80-year-old Air Force widow barely hanging on. Well I thought that was all in the past but today out of nowhere a Camp Host from Davis Mothan decided to attack me on Facebook. Actually called me out by name and insulted my wife i've copied his post and would post a picture of it on here but can't but his name is Jerry L Allen just beware the Camp Hosts at DM (at least this one) won't hesitate to track you down and call you out for his...
