There are no words to express how perfectly Yokayo Ranch handled every single aspect of our May 2024 wedding. We were repeatedly blown away at the thought, care, professionalism, creativity, and presence of everyone on Yokayo’s staff and from their preferred vendor partners. We cannot recommend this venue enough for any couple who wants a special, connected, and magical setting for their wedding day. The venue was perfect for our group. We rented all 9 tent spaces and filled the houses with our wedding party and friends. Everything was prepared and if we had any asks, they were immediately handled by Mark or another Yokayo staff member. Our friends loved getting ready together in the camper cabin and we spent 3 perfect nights sitting on the main house porch after the party until the wee hours of the morning. Nicole was our day of coordinator and we are just absolutely obsessed with her. She thought of everything we didn’t and made sure that our Friday welcome party, Saturday pool party and wedding went perfectly. She was present and around but never in the way. She allowed us to experience our weekend with our guests and just got things done before we would ever need to ask. Speaking of obsessed, we used Rachel (Fieldhouse) for our florals and she made our rainbow fever dreams come true. She did things with our florals that were beyond even our imagination- we provided a high level vision (Rainbow Alice in Wonderland trips down the rabbit hole) and just let her GO. Her creativity and skill knows no bounds; our guests were blown away - we still hear weekly how amazing our wedding and flowers were. I highly, highly recommend using Fieldhouse for your wedding florals and decor. Rachel and Nicole’s vision together was just pure magic. They have such a special bond and can finish each others’ sentences and know Yokayo in and out. I could write forever about our experience at Yokayo and how happy we were that we booked this venue for our wedding. Apart from our photographer we used all Yokayo recommended vendors and Yokayo Bartenders - we highly recommend them! Our wedding will not be the last time we stay at Yokayo, we will be back. Special thanks to Rachel, Nicole, Dana, Mark, Steven, Jodi, Creedance, Olivia, Emily and Beau and Jenn from Grasslands.

We just got married there, and it was honestly beyond anything we could’ve hoped for. The venue itself is stunning—peaceful, warm, and naturally beautiful in a way that doesn’t need (or want) a bunch of over-the-top extras. But what made it truly unforgettable was Rachel and her incredible team. From the very beginning, Rachel made everything feel easy. She’s organized, intuitive, calm, and somehow manages to be both laid-back and on top of every detail. I never felt overwhelmed, never stressed. I fully trusted her, and that trust paid off a thousand times over. The florals were perfect—gorgeous but not fussy, exactly in tune with the setting and the vibe we’d envisioned. Her staff was so kind and attentive, and the whole event flowed effortlessly thanks to their care and presence. Guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything was, but also how relaxed and fun the day felt. There was no pretense or pressure—just love, laughter, tacos (SO GOOD), and pure joy. Rachel also helped us source our food (YUM), hair and makeup artist (who was amazing), our dessert vendor (adorable and delicious), and even supported our late-night In-N-Out plan. She managed every piece of the puzzle with grace and humor, and made sure we got to actually enjoy our wedding day. (Which we did. Fully. With Palomas. And a piano man. And guacamole on my dress.) We’ve joked with our guests about making this an annual thing, and honestly? We might not be joking. Yokayo is that special. And if you’re lucky enough to have Rachel by your side, you’re in very good hands.

Yokayo Ranch was an absolute dream come true for our wedding. Tucked into the peaceful hills of Ukiah, the property feels like a hidden oasis—lush, serene, and surrounded by nature in the most magical way. Every corner of the ranch has a natural beauty that made our weekend feel so special and grounded. From the sweeping trees to the gentle golden light at sunset, it was the perfect setting for such a meaningful celebration. Rachel, who owns and runs the venue, is truly an angel. From the very start, she was attentive, calming, and so easy to work with. She went above and beyond to help us feel supported—from arranging beautiful flowers to helping find bartenders and smoothing out all the little details that make a wedding feel effortless. Her warmth and calm energy made the planning process feel personal and joyful. We always felt like we were in good hands. The ceremony space was elegant and intimate, and the dinner area glowed with charm and love. Our friends who stayed on the property felt so at home—they swam in the pool, danced to music on the outdoor speakers, and gathered in the stunning kitchen of the main house for late-night laughs. Every moment of the weekend felt relaxed, beautiful, and deeply memorable. We truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to begin this next chapter of our lives.

Yokayo Ranch is more than just a wedding/event venue, it’s a magical wonderland where beautiful memories are made and love stories are told. My now husband and I fell in love with Yokayo Ranch after running a corporate retreat on the property in 2019. We happened to come the first week the property had changed ownership to Ian and Rachel. We camped on the property and as we sat in the hot tub surrounded by beautiful trees we thought to ourselves “how magical would it be to get married here someday?”. Fast forward to October of 2022 where we were blessed with the opportunity to get married at Yokayo and celebrate our love with our dearest friends and family. We didn’t even look at any other venues before committing to Yokayo, as we had our hearts set on the beautiful land and lovely souls that ran the show.

We had a micro wedding, on a Tuesday in October and it turned out to be the most perfect days of our lives. Our wedding party and immediate family stayed with us on the property the night before and the night of. The focus for our wedding was quality time and maximizing the experience for our guests, so creating a “destination wedding” felt important to us. Yokayo is minutes away from the quaint downtown of Ukiah but it feels like you’re teleported to magical, faraway lands. The lodging experience truly feels like you’re warmly welcomed into their cozy home with beautiful views, cozy and comfortable bedding, top-notch amenities and appliances, pool and hot tub - all at your fingertips.

Rachel was our coordinator and we felt absolutely taken care of before even stepping foot on the property. She helped guide us with her expertise and knowledge and truly cared about every single detail of our wedding. She helped bring our vision to life and executed far beyond expectations, setting the scene for a perfect love fest that will be remembered and cherished forever. She is a master in creating beautiful experiences and has worked with endless couples to create sacred weddings in alignment with their unique visions and values. She helped coordinate Yokayo staff who were not only amazing, but were the sweetest people to join in on the magic of the day and celebrate with us.

It’s truly challenging to put the wedding day into words as it was beautiful beyond belief. It felt so incredibly special that we were able to share the magic of Yokayo with the ones we love. So many of our guests sincerely expressed gratitude for how lovely Yokayo is. The energy there is sacred and you can really feel all the love and care that’s been put into all the details of the property over the years.

We know we will be back to Yokayo again in the future to celebrate love, friendship and all the beauty this life has in...

We have nothing but endless gratitude to the entire team at Yokayo Ranch, as they played an instrumental role in orchestrating what turned out to be the most epic wedding weekend for us and our guests. From the inception of our untraditional plan for a multi-day event with a separated ceremony and reception, Yokayo Ranch stood out as the perfect canvas for our vision. Having been on my radar for years, I conducted extensive research to explore alternatives, yet nothing remotely comparable surfaced. Our decision was solidified after our tour – even on a cool winter day in January, the venue exuded an unmistakable aura of love and magic.

Rachel, the welcoming face of Yokayo, embraced us with open arms and fostered a familial atmosphere throughout our entire journey. Her and the team's profound knowledge and eagerness to bring our vision to life were palpable at every step. We opted for many of the recommended vendors, and the seamless collaboration amongst the Ukiah community's incredible professionals was evident. Each vendor not only knew their craft but also worked harmoniously together, elevating our experience. The guests couldn't stop raving about the venue, particularly enjoying the leisurely moments by the pool each day. To the entire Yokayo team, our heartfelt gratitude for making our weekend truly magical.

The sense of satisfaction was so profound that my husband left the weekend already contemplating an anniversary celebration back at Yokayo—such was the impact of the experience. Yokayo Ranch is not just a venue; it's an enchanting space where dreams are not only realized but surpassed. Thank you, Yokayo, for being the backdrop to our unforgettable...
