I have written and posted and deleted this review over and over again. But I just cannot force myself to recommend this RV park. Sure it’s in a beautiful spot and it’s convenient to the highway and other locations but that is where the good stops. . There are tons of full-time campers they do not follow the rules about where to park vehicles or which way to drive up and down roads or posted speed limits or quiet hours multiple times during our trip we came in late at night after spending full days out in the area to find full timers having full-blown parties outside with loud music after quiet hours, By this point, we didn’t even bother going to the camp host because we knew they would do nothing. The full timers are situated throughout the park and are extremely unfriendly to guests who come in for vacation. We stayed for over a week And could not tell you anything about the host or the guest in this place other than that, they are unfriendly to such extent that we didn’t even utilize the pool. Additionally the management here could care less about anything but themselves. There is no hospitality. Have a concern about the driving habits of their full timers and the safety of your children don’t ask the office they don’t care they tell you you should keep your kid in a space that is next to your camper. That’s where my kid was when A full-time backed in and nearly hit them still, your office doesn’t care. Need recommendations for the local area don’t ask the office they don’t care example “not from the area and asked hey we’re going to be getting in kind of late. Can you let me know which exit has fast food places that may be open at 10 or 11 o’clock at night?” Response from your workers @I don’t know you should use your phone to find that out…”. Have equipment that you need to replace or repairs you need to make in your camper and looking for a recommendation for where to go, again don’t ask your camp host. They don’t know and don’t care. I say they don’t care because when you ask them they act like how dare you bother me with a question. For clarity, we stayed here for a family trip about a month ago and Before the management decides to reply and say they can’t find my name no I’m not going to share the name on the reservation with you. Because I have already elevated it to what passes for corporate for R Journey, And this review is just that a review so other people can know...

It’s gonna be a long one, Sorry, but I feel it’s informative for future campers!

Let me start by saying this was our very first family vacation that we actually went to a campsite with our camper and didn’t stay at a hotel or Airbnb, Ok so that being said we went in being very excited to be going there, and to take part in all the fun things to do they have listed while at camp…upon arrival in the office The ladies were so very nice and welcoming to us, one of the grounds keepers showed us to our camp site that we were staying at for the next 5 nights, the way there there were a lot campers with whole nice set ups and also a lot with junk and mess obviously staying longer than just a week or so. I said to my family, they must live here for the summer, but you would think they would be made to keep their site clean but whatever our site was good, nice view of the ponds and very easy to get into, that night our daughter and I walked around to check out the campgrounds and take my 2 yr old grand daughter to the park, that’s when I started to notice the people and the amenities! Nobody (at the camp sites) were friendly, a lot were sitting outside on their sites, and a lot with kids, and with us saying Hi and waving we didn’t get much response…I mean how do you not say hi to a cute little 2 yr old redhead that is waving to you 🤷‍♀️…all the amenities were old, out dated and non existent, let me be more specific…the putt putt and the arcade/game room behind the office were good, old but functional and nice to have there, also had laundry room and bath/shower house off that room…the bathroom and showers need LOTS of work, was Not all in working order. The Pool was so cloudy you could not see the bottom and heavily chlorinated, the bath/shower house next to the pool was worse then the office bathrooms, there was so much water on the floor and I’m not talking just wet I’m literally talking half inch or more, The kids park is so outdated, paint peeling, rusty and not small children friendly not even 1 baby swing, The Batting cage non existent only a frame of what use to be I guess, Oh and The big wheel bikes are behind a fence, don’t look like they have been used in years and a paper faded sign that says they cost $5 an hour to rent…I guess they are not needed, all the kids that Live there have their own bikes, they are laying all over…But wait...

BUYER BEWARE!!! This is NOT a family owned RV park. This is a CORPORATE owned RV park. The prices change daily. Once you are locked into Rjouney’s daily rate that is your rate if you stay 1 night or 35 nights. They will NOT honor the monthly rate once you are locked into a daily rate. Example: if you book your stay for 3 nights at $50/night and then decide you need to extend your stay for 1,2 or 3 more weeks or a month they will not honor a weekly or monthly discounted rate. They will charge you $50/night for the duration of your extended stay.

The options for making a reservation are on the website or calling the service center and talking to a commission based sales associate. When I booked our 3 week stay the prices online were so high I decided to call and verify that was the lowest rate. The commission based sales associate assured me that he was giving me the lowest rate. The price was very high and because of our family and work circumstances we needed a place to stay uninterrupted and booked our 3 week stay for $1700.00. YIKES!! Yes, $1700.00 We needed to extend our stay by a couple of nights and that’s when I discovered it cost $1200 to stay for a month and $1700 to stay for 3 weeks. This price difference was never brought to my attention by the commission based sales associate. I felt like I had been scammed by the commission based sales associate. I expressed my concerns to the RV campground manager and assumed it would be an easy fix. The RV site manager was very understanding and agreed that the sales transaction was not handlers properly and this has been an ongoing concern. She is the site manager and didn’t have any authority to do anything about it. She had to contact her regional manager and to handle the discrepancy. Again- CORPORATE owned not FAMILY owned. The regional manger said she couldn’t do anything about the situation, no explanation of their business policy, nothing- simply I can’t help you. I called the call center and had the same response- there’s nothing we can do. I asked to speak with upper management and was told they don’t talk to customers and I could not have their contact information. My husband and I are full time RVer’s, this was our first and last experience with RJourney. We will be spending our...

We booked for two nights and only stayed for one. Now, I will say all the staff were very pleasant, including Lorraine the manager. But as the sun was going down, we noticed a GIANT flood light covering a good portion of the campground near our spot. Once it was dark, well, you can see what we experienced. This flood light was WAY too bright. When we brought it to their attention, they said it was for kids who wanted to play basketball. I'm sorry, but this is a rv park/campground...not a basketball court. Mind you, definitely didn't see anyone playing basketball. But even if that's the case, find a light that illuminates the basketball court and not the entire camp area around it. The pool did not look very clean and the restrooms were hardly bearable to use. While the people were very nice, definitely won't be back. Oh and no refund on the night we didn't stay, which is understandable but unfortunate.

Stayed a week and it was a nice place. I believe the majority of the guest live here full time. Lots aren’t big but they have fire pits and picnic tables. Most sites are gravel with no grass space- however when you get close to the pond there is plenty of grass. Some of the field sites have grass yards. You can fish in the pond (if you can get over the snakes). Workers patrol the area and it’s clean. My reason for the 4-stars is because of all the snakes .. yes, I know it’s camping but when you can stand in one spot and count 6 it’s a lot for me. Plus, one of the workers told me not to walk my dogs through the gravel/rock of an empty lot back to my camper (which was right beside our camper) i thought this was super strange considering currently most of their dirt roads are super deep mud puddles- if it was an occupied site then sure but If it’s empty..I think it’s a bit much

One of the worst RV park experiences we’ve had. It wasn’t really about the customer service — the issue was the condition of the park itself. We arrived at 3 a.m. and immediately stepped into a muddy mess. Our feet and socks were soaked the minute we got out of the truck. It continued to rain, and the site just got worse — water was everywhere, and we were basically stuck inside our RV the whole time because going outside wasn’t an option. We followed their rule and bought firewood on-site since outside wood wasn’t allowed, but the firewood they sold us wouldn’t even burn. We tried everything and still couldn’t get a fire going. The drainage at this park is a serious problem, and our site had zero gravel — just mud. They really need to improve the grounds if they expect guests to enjoy their stay. We won’t be coming back.
