This was our 2nd stay. We like the location bc it’s closer to our family, however we have several complaints. The room we checked into at 10 pm wasn’t cleaned, it had dirty towels in the bathtub and the beds had been slept in and blood on one of them. The hotel reassigned us to another room on the 1st floor thankfully. The carpet was torn by the door. The bathtub plug wouldn’t stay up to drain . We liked this hotel for the pool, but it was ice cold and the bottom of it was green. The morning receptionist was very rude and not helpful as to why the pool had a closed sign, apparently it was only for an hour for chemical treatment. The fitted sheet never stayed on either time we’ve stayed. Also they quote you a nightly rate then when you check out and get the receipt there are other fees such as : State tax- $8.37 City lodging tax - $3.46 County lodging tax - $3.46 Energy efficiency fee - $ 5.77 Safe with limited warranty - $ 2.15 I understand tax but why state, county and city? Why am I being charged for energy efficiency when no one even cleaned our room and we used the same towels both nights we stayed. We never even used the safe, why am I being charged a safe fee? Also every towel you have to ask for and sign a book with how many towels and pool towels you take, then have to turn them back in. Trash cans are tiny and only 2.

Stayed for a weekend with family after visiting the cavern. Rooms are very clean they did a great job maintaining the cleanliness around so as their breakfast station..we tried swimming to their pool, but that time, it was just too cold.. thank you to those who prepared them for that warm, delicious breakfast. The employees made that hotel extra cozy & clean. Keep it up and definitely recommend.

The overnight experience was great. I thought that they had a continental breakfast, it turned out to be a full breakfast. Highly recommend Papa Hotel Night with his girls.

This was the third time I’ve stayed there. Came in this past Monday, checked in about 2 pm. The “ young man” that was at the desk greeted me. I asked “ I know it’s a bit early to check in (3 pm ) but I was hoping my room might be ready!” He checked and said “ yes it is!”. Knowing that the church had already paid for the room the prior week, the young man asked for a card. Now, I travel a lot and I’m used to clerks asking for a card for “ incidentals”! I gave him my card. He gave back my card and the room key. My wife and I went to the room. At about 4:30 pm ( eastern time) I was paying bills online when I had this gut feeling ti check my bank account. Glad I did. The young man had charged the room ( $184.00) and I was about to have an overdraft on my next bill that I was going to pay. I quickly went to the front desk and there was a young lady there. I asked where the young man was, she said he’d already left. I proceeded to tell her what had happened. She took my information and said she’d be right back. She had gone to the lady manager and was trying to tell her about it. They.both came back and the manager asked me to tell her what I had said. I did and then mentioned that my card shouldn’t have been charged and I wanted the money back in my account. Manager said she couldn’t do that. Then the manager got her laptop and did some punching on the keys then saud “ here “ as she turned her laptop to me. Then said “ this is all I can do. I’ve canceled the order for your room and now it shows “0”! She said @ apythere was another credit card number in the system and the other clerk put your card in and clicked on your card for the room charge”! She said it would take a few days for it to go back on my card. “That’s all I can do!” That was Monday and here it is Thursday at 4 pm and it’s still not back on my card. I’ve got two automatic withdrawals scheduled for tomorrow, Friday. If it’s not in there, I’ll get charged two overdraft charges of $35 each. I’ve tried calling the motel 4 times today and when I ask for the manager I’m put on hold…………,forever! Then...

If it could give this place 0 stars I would. I was part of a wedding party that had a “block” at this hotel. We were originally told we could only block 5 rooms at a time and that we could go back and add more rooms as needed if there were rooms available and at the discounted rate. Complete lie. They told me they weren’t sure why I was ever told that but that isn’t right and that they didn’t have anymore rooms available to accommodate my guests. In the beginning, There we’re 20 rooms to be requested, they told me i could only do 5. I was also told that they could accommodate the parents of the wedding party to have an earlier check in and that they would make a note on my chart MONTHS AGO, and when I called to check in with that TWO days before the wedding, I was told there was no way they could accommodate that. The manager was completely rude and DOES NOT know what it means / what it takes to work in the customer service industry. Telling me on the phone “you people are ridiculous” and not being able to accommodate to the needs that they originally said they could put together for my party? The lying is what is ridiculous. Be straight up from the beginning of what we can and can’t do. The respect was completely lacking for me as a customer and I do not recommend staying in this hotel or dealing with the manager of this building. Her name was Amanda. Be aware when calling for a request because it...
