I have stayed with Susan and Myron while visiting on business almost every year for 6 years now and I continue to go back. In my opinion, quite possibly the best stay in the state, and certainly in Barrow. ||Amazing people who are down to earth, bend over backwards for you to help you not only with your stay, but also have helped me with various business contacts and connections for shipping to and from barrow, how to find the best service there, etc. ||Local knowledge, history and stories to share in the evenings and the food… you may not want to leave. For a very reasonable price you can add meals onto your stay and it will rival some of the bests restaurants in Alaksa. Susan truly makes very good home scratch cooked meals! ||Meeting others from around the world while sitting around the dinner or breakfast table is always interesting ||It’s not just a place to stay. Box 1388, Barrow, AK USA 99723] We were given a queen room on the ground floor that was well-appointed, extremely clean, and comfortable with WIFI and cable TV in the room. There are 4 spotless bathrooms for the 10 rooms they rent, so we never had any waits. They prepare a copious and delicious breakfast each morning for the guests. We had the option of reserving other meals too, although we choose to either eat out or have food delivered. The dining choices are limited to about 3-4 places in town. One evening, while we were playing a game at the table, Susan offered us each a complimentary glass of wine. Most of the other guests were bird watchers, a unique group of travelers who flock to this coast just like the birds who nest here in the summer.
