I've read so many of the reviews below and I'm always amazed at how people want to complain these days just to find something to complain about. Ok, so here's my take on this hotel. I drove up Thursday morning for a family funeral. I had prebooked a different hotel. When I originally pulled off in the area it was in I realized really quick that was definitely not a place a single woman needed to be staying by herself. Not knowing this area at all, it had been decades since I had been up here, I immediately cancelled the reservation and decided to find a different place after the funeral. I traveled the 30 more minutes to the church for the Celebration of Life for my cousin. Afterwards I went on to find a different place to stay. I was seriously just looking for a safe place to lay my head for the night. I didn't need a 10 star hotel. I needed a clean, comfortable bed, bathroom, tv, refrigerator and close enough to get food delivered. To me at this point anything else was an added bonus, I just wanted to rest and relax before I headed back home the next day. As I searched the app, this hotel popped up. I remembered passing it on my way in. It looked fairly nice on the outside. Parking lot was pretty empty, which meant there wasn't a lot of guests so less people noise. It was literally just at the edge of town off the main highway. But at night there shouldn't be too much traffic. I booked the room! When I arrived about 20 minutes later I was greeted immediately as I walked in the door by the sweetest young man named Ram. Why did I take the time to remember his name? Because he went out of his way to be so kind and very respectful. I have never went to a hotel anywhere that I have traveled and been greeted by anyone as kind, patient and respectful as this young man was. We spoke and had several conversations every time I entered and exited that evening. He was a very welcoming person. I will agree that the room I stayed in was on the small side, but if you're staying for one night just to rest do you really need a super size. The room was perfect, plenty of space for 2 people to spend the night comfortably and at an extremely reasonable price especially with the cost of hotels in our economy today. This hotel was actually much nicer, quieter and definitely safer and $25 cheaper than the one I had previously booked. So it was honestly a win win in my eyes. The bed was firm, and felt amazing on my bad back, first night I slept great in a very long time. I have issues sleeping with chronic pain, and I tell you I started nodding off after I ate dinner at 7:30, by 9:30 I was out for the night and only woke up once for just a few minutes. I didn't wake up until my alarm went off at 9:30am. Such an amazing restful sleep. No noise, nothing bothered me, a perfect night. I woke up, got ready and started carrying my things out. As I opened my door I realized the maid staff and front desk clerk were discussing who was checking out and what rooms needed to be cleaned. When I opened my door they all immediately apologized for being to loud. I laughed, I never heard them, told them there was no reason to apologize they could keep on doing what they were doing. I didn't have the TV or any noise going in my room, I enjoy quiet time as much as I can get it. These rooms are pretty sound proof, I never heard anyone the entire time I was there. The only time I heard anything was when a couple guys truck was having some mechanical problems, the hotel was kind enough that even though they didn't have a room they could use the parking lot to fix the vehicle. I give them brownie points for that. No other hotel I have ever been to would have done that. I only heard them while I was awake, I couldn't tell you what time they came back with the parts but they were gone when I woke up in the morning. The morning staff today was just as friendly and courteous as the night staff. The parts of the hotel I was in from the parking lot on were extremely clean and up to great standards. I don't think any hotel will ever be without some imperfections as they can't change the carpet out everytime a guest spills something and just as carpets in a home some stains just aren't removable unless taken care of immediately. I didn't notice any foul odors, and I have an extremely sensitive nose. In my opinion this is an excellent place to stay. If I ever come back this way again to visit family, which I'm sure I will, I will try my best to book here first. Excellent customer service, safety, peacefulness all rank very high on my priority list, then adding in the competitive pricing, well this dandy little peach was a grade A break from all the hustle and bustle of the world!!! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience while I was here. And a very special thank you to Ram, this young man needs a very special treat and raise for his extra special service, he definitely goes above and beyond his job description and expectations to make visitors feel at home. He is a great asset to your business and is someone who should be looked at for higher positions in the near future. He is the type of people we yearn for as employees especially in today's market. Ram, I wish you the best in all of your endeavors, my life bring you success and many blessings. You are an inspiration and outstanding young man, keep being a leader in this world we could use many more people like you. Again, thank you for such a relaxing and wonderful stay to all the staff I encountered during my visit, you all made my trip very special.||Sincerely...

My friend and I recently stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites in Claremore, OK, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff made us feel welcomed and valued. They were friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process quick and hassle-free. It immediately set a positive tone for the rest of our stay.
The room was spotless, well-lit, and thoughtfully arranged. It wasn’t overly large, but it had everything we needed—comfortable beds with clean, fresh linens, a mini-fridge and microwave, and a cozy little window seat that gave the room extra charm. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and plenty of towels. We also appreciated how quiet the hotel was at night—no hallway noise, no loud neighbors—which made it really easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep.
Another highlight was the complimentary breakfast. While it wasn’t fancy, it was fresh and satisfying—pancakes, muffins, fruit, yogurt, and hot coffee. It was more than enough to start our day off right, especially since we had a long drive ahead. The breakfast area was clean and well-stocked, and the staff made sure everything was refilled promptly.
The location is super convenient—right off Route 66 and close to gas stations, restaurants, and local attractions like the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. It’s also easy to get on and off the highway, which was a big plus for us since we were passing through on a road trip.
Another small but meaningful detail: the hotel felt very safe and well-maintained. Parking was easy, and everything from the hallways to the lobby to the outdoor areas looked clean and taken care of. We also noticed they have a seasonal pool and hot tub, which we didn’t use this time but will definitely take advantage of next time we stay.
Overall, this hotel completely exceeded our expectations. It’s affordable, clean, friendly, and comfortable—everything you could want for a short stay or even a longer visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others and will absolutely be staying here again the next time we’re...
Read moreThis is the second multi-night stay at this location in this year alone. I have been a guest at the Claremore Microtel more times than i can honestly recall. In 2018-2019, I twice stayed for several consecutive weeks. I miss the breakfast, which was always superb as it pertains to hotel-style continental breakfasts. My only complaint relates to the Rewards program and the lack of information I received from any of the many Wyndham employees or through other means of communication from the corporation, such as e-mails. Not only have I faithfully used Microtel for my hotel needs when Im in Claremore, but I consistently utilized other Wyndham properties when travelling back and forth to Oklahoma City and surrounding cities. (Baymont OKC - near Airport, El Reno) from 10/20-12/25, I estimate I was a guest a total of 10-12 times. Most of those stays were at Baymont on Meridian. La Quinta in Catoosa, OK also played host about five weeks ago. While I appreciate that I am now receiving rewards points, (including back points from this past week) I would sincerely appreciate the additional points I have earned for qualified nights spent at the Baymont and La Quinta locations from the past couple months. I will continue to stay at MIcrotel Inn and Suites, Claremore, OK. i ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY TIME HERE! This is an amazingly clean hotel and the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. The gentleman that checked me in last week has been helpful more than once and Jennifer has been amazing, as always! The Wyndham family should be proud of this location, they represent the company in a manner that should be considered the standard for all affiliates. I can think of three separate individuals who have taken my recommendation and stayed at Microtel, Claremore. Thank you and have a great day!
My most recent contract for work will require me to stay in Claremore for several consecutive weeks, even months. Because of situations such as this, I wish there was a more affordable weekly or monthly rate for a regular customer such as myself. Maybe a future option for extended stay discounts could be part of the...
