I donât recommend this marina! If you are renting a boat or a jet ski this review is for you!
We made reservations over the phone the day before our arrival for a jet ski and pontoon boat and paid what was required. We arrived early to sign papers and pay the difference, the charge seemed very high including two additional deposits but we were assured it will all get refunded.
We waited for over an hour to get our jet ski and boat and since it was at the end of the day we were assured that we wonât get charged for the missed hour, we were never offered the option to keep the boat pass our initial time to make up for the delay.
When we returned the boat and jet ski, they showed us a picture of the jet ski and said we added two more âscratchesâ and thatâs considered damage. The jet sky was full of scratches, obvious wear and tear so we didnât think to take pictures of it. After I argued about the jet ski âdamageâ the guy said heâll only charge us $50 from our deposit. His attitude was off putting, zero customer service, he took no accountability for being late, stating he gave us a better boat so the hour we lost was made up by that.
Without making this into a novel, they never reimbursed us the hour they were late and a 3 hour boat + jet ski ended up costing close to $1300 after reimbursement of the initial deposit! Luckily we looked at the credit card early the next day and we went down to get this sorted.
We had to wait for the manager to dissect the playback of the whole thing and she came to the conclusion that we were overcharged $521. The whole time she acted that we were interfering with her âbeing in the middle of a dealâ at the end of it all, NO APOLOGIES! We literally had to chase them to get our money back on what was supposed to be a vacation and nobody showed any kind of good customer service! There was a gentleman behind us who hadnât received his deposit so clearly they do this a lot!
Mistakes happen but how they handled everything made us feel that they are running a scam or are extremely incompetent, either way itâs...
   Read moreIf it was just the food I would give it 5 stars. It's labor day weekend, and covid. So I understand that patience should be granted for the situation. With that being said, no matter the situation, your server should be able to come and check more than once. An appetizer shouldn't take 45 minutes to show up. You shouldn't have to ask the host, and the bar staff what's going on because your server won't even acknowledge that you exist. Finally getting a response on the appetizer, the food came with it. Then had to ask the bar to see about drink refills. Finally had to literally walk over to the kitchen area for a to go container and the check. I don't blame the restaurant, nor do I blame the cooks. For some reason our server decided to just stop being our server after we ordered. She wasn't even the one who delivered our food. She delivered the food and appetizers to the tables near us. Not to mention the buzzer they gave us didn't work, so when I checked how much longer while even waiting for a table, I saw names below us crossed off. Guess the buzzers are having issues. The hostess on the other hand has to be one of the best I have ever seen. This place is probably just to go orders only...
   Read moreWhat did we like about it? All 7 of us? Nothing. We waited 15 minutes to be seated at a dirty table and the taller waitress had an attitude the entire time. After sitting down we waited 15-20 minutes for the shorter waitress to get us drinks in lieu of the other waitress failing to. The table reeked. I'm not talking the normal lake smell and it wasn't a booth. It smelled awful. During the 2.5 hour wait, to include appetizers we never received, the waitress wouldn't even turn on the light above our table. We mentioned it to her and never even received a reason for it not being on. After the nearly 3 hour wait and some half ass excuse of them being, "am hour behind", we finally left. I wouldn't waste my time going here if they paid me to eat here and paid my gas. We ONLY stopped here instead of going to Tahlequah because it was 5 or 10 minutes from our private cabin. The employee that was our server should learn some customer service and possibly be more friendly. I'm military and used to being treated like crap.
