I rarely write reviews but this place was over the top and I had to write one and "brag". This place is beautiful and so peaceful! The staff are friendly and the food is delicious! Like I said, over the top 10 stars!!! We play music for a living and decided to treat ourselves to a B & B. I booked the Trout room for one night and wound up asking if we could stay another night because we enjoyed ourselves so much. They really are so thoughtful with all the amenities. There are snacks, tea, little Hershey kisses, yogurts, granola bars, fruit, fresh water, a keurig for anytime coffee, all for your convenience in the general areas. A beautiful fireplace christens the large living room and the wood and stone of this historic cabin is gorgeous! The views and location is perfectly out of the hustle bustle of Jackson but close enough to make the trip over the "hill". You can look north and see a beautiful sunset on the west side of the Tetons. What I loved was the quiet and the beauty. These people spared nothing when it comes to 1st class and I think their prices were reasonable for what you get. Example; we are musicians and we don't typically get up early, but we did because I had a feeling breakfast was going to be yummy! We got down to the dining room to be met by Anna and she had an apple pastry that she had just made, completely warm and amazing! Then she brought out egg-chili relleno, bacon, and very fresh fruit! There were three choices of juice, many choices of teas and of course coffee. The next morning we were greeted for breakfast with a smile. Anna had made a baked pear with granola and a touch of yogurt on top...it was beautiful and delicious! She also served French toast and baked a very fresh tart cherry/chocolate scone! Anna was a lovely woman who generously shared about the building of the B&B. She told us a bit about things to do in the area as there were also travel guides and great resources left on the tables in the main sitting room. Every little detail these people thought of, from the cute little salt and pepper birds to the heated slate floors that greeted you in the bathroom before the shower entrance! The showers were remarkable and beautiful too with great pressure and long lasting hot water. The bed was very comfortable and each room has it's own heat/cold that you can control. Like I said, nothing was spared, they simply thought of everything! We will definitely be back and instead of just a passing by, this very well could be a destination. Thank you Fin and Feather for giving rest and comfort and making a beautiful place and providing wonderful breakfasts!!!
PS. Our service dog was welcomed too! Juno had a very good time and they enjoyed her as well. All tails wagging at this place!!! Go...
Read moreAfter a long trip on the west coast my wife, son and I decided to end our adventure in the serene and beautiful Grand Teton area. If you have never been to this part of the country put it on your list. No matter where you are you will get amazing vistas of the "Cathedral Seven". We chose the Fin and the Feather because of its convenient location to the Grand Teton National Park, the Grand Targhee and Jackson and because of the beauty of the Inn. By way the Teton Pass the inn is only about 30 mins from Jackson Hole (longer if there's moose crossing in the roads).
We were not disappointed. The Inn is stunning. It's located in Victor, Idaho at the base of the Teton mountain range so when you wake up in the morning you are greeted with an amazing view of the "Grand".
The inn has been recently renovated so everything is new and fresh. The rooms are beautifully appointed, each with its own bath. One of the rooms has a really cool claw-foot tub. My wife and I stayed on the large front room and we're treated to the amazing views of the mountains each morning. Our bathroom had a shower with dual shower heads!! Enough said :)
In the main hallway the inn keeper has setup a very nice coffee and snack area. Each morning I would sneak out and make coffee for my wife and I and then tuck back into bed. All very convenient and wonderful.
Each morning we had a wonderful breakfast waiting with coffee, juices, bagels, muffins, and whatever creation the inn keeper (Rachel) had cooked up for us that day. A very good start to the active days we had in the area. BTW - eat a good hearty breakfast if you intend to hike in the mountains!
Prior to our trip we called Rachel and asked for advice with Teton park tours. Rachel set us up with a sunset expedition which turned out to be very successful. We encountered two bull moose and a female with a calf. We also encountered a huge herd of bison on the elk range. It was all pretty incredible.
I would highly recommend the Fin and Feather to anyone coming...
Read moreFin and Feather is exceptional. My wife and I stayed in the Mallard room for 4 days in July 2025 and a couple we travelled with stayed down the hall. The location of this B&B is perfect. It’s a few short miles down the road from Victor, Idaho. It looks out onto a beautiful vista of mountains. I would get up early every morning, make a coffee at the self-service station, and sit in the Adirondack chairs on the front lawn and gaze at the beautiful view while listening to the birds. As everyone notes, the breakfast that Rachel serves is to die for. We bought one of Rachel’s cookbooks with the hopes of replicating some of the delicious recipes we enjoyed. Rachel is an outstanding host in every respect. She is so nice, informative, and always takes the time to answer questions, make recommendations and just chat. Her father Mike stops by periodically and he too is a great guy who we enjoyed visiting with and sharing a cold brew during their afternoon happy hour. Our room was large, well equipped with a comfortable bed and excellent view. Rachel works very, very hard to make this B&B a delight for guests and we are all the beneficiaries. We will return to the Fin and Feather. BTW, Victor and Driggs, Idaho have some outstanding restaurants. They are every bit as good as those in Jackson for less money and...
