Cajun Oasis RV Resort — Hotel in Vinton

I went there with my son. The check-in process was smooth and friendly. At the beach, Cody (one of the staff members) was very, very helpful. I had a brand new canopy tent that I had no idea how to set up 😅. Cody spotted my confusion and volunteered to help. Then, he gave us a cooler because we broke ours 🤦🏾. The water was at a good temperature; warm at the top, and cool in the deep. If you can't swim well, don't go in the middle because past a few inches below the surface, you cannot be seen!

The atmosphere was friendly. Some of the customers had speakers playing country music. Some others were playing Latino / Hispanic music. The volume was at a respectful level not to disturb anyone who is not biased.

There's also a pond for fishing. The fish were smarter than me that day; didn't catch any 😅. I will definitely return before it starts...

I went for a three night getaway from the daily grind and the place is clean and the swimming pond is beautiful with a beach. They have a store, laundry room (they would even wash dry and fold for a charge per pound). They are very friendly. For those who do not have an RV and staying at a hotel in Vinton or who live close can purchase a day pass to swim in the pond (Tuesday - Sunday). They also have fishing available as well. This place is close to Nibblet’s Bluff park, Delta Downs, etc. This is one great place to camp and enjoy the beach without having to worry about the water causing saltwater corrosion on your rig. There is also an air compressor available at no extra charge to inflate swim floats, rafts, etc. You can bring umbrellas and canopies to set up on the beach. Absolutely beautiful RV park. The staff and owner are very friendly and professional. The lots are very clean and well maintained, 30amp and 50amp. This RV park has a fishing pond and a man made swimming pond that is treated. The swimming pond has its own bathrooms right on beach and honestly this is a very beautiful and very quiet area if you are looking to escape the noise of vehicles or heavey traffic roads. At&T and Verizon have better service in this area, Tmobile still works just not as good as the other carriers, The RV park also has free Wifi for any of the guest's thats are staying at the park. The upcoming add-ons to this RV park are going to make this a for sure destination for me And my family when we come back through this area. Thank you John for the world...
