Hundred Acre Woods Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Virginia

The host is lovely and makes everyone feel right at home. I felt like I was visiting my aunt. There are two rooms in the downstairs basement with windows. One room has an inroom bathroom with the tub in the bedroom and a separate toilet and sink room. The second bedroom has a private bathroom with shower, but you must leave the bedroom to get to it. It is within 10 feet of the room. There is a nice sitting room with TV for use as well as a mini fridge and coffee pot. We had a delicious and beautiful breakfast of fruit, pancakes and ham. ||||The B&B is a 1/2 mile off the main road and is very quiet. Other hotels in town are right along the train tracks so VERY loud at night. The house does not have air conditioning, but the downstairs was very pleasant, while upstairs was a bit warm. ||||This is a peaceful place to spend the weekend and enjoy the bears at the American Bear Sanctuary in Orr. The B&B is only two miles from Orr and about 15 minutes to the Bears. This B&B is about the same distance as the other motels in the area. ||||Don't miss the Underground Mine in Soudan - about an hour away. If you are in need of a place to stay in Orr look no further than this BnB! Veronica was extremely kind, welcoming, and a pleasure to stay with. She messaged us to see when we would be arriving and even had freshly baked apple crisp ready when we arrived. We chatted for a little bit and then she recommended Melgeorge’s for dinner (which was great and only about 10-15 mins away). The bedroom was super cozy and the bathroom had a sauna. We opted for the homemade breakfast and let me tell you, if you don’t get this you are missing out!!! Veronica made us pannekoeken (fluffy pancake), cooked ham, eggs, and fruit. Hands down one of the best breakfasts we have had! The only negative thing we have to say is unfortunately we didn’t get to stay longer than one night (due to our travel schedule). We would 1000% recommend you stay with Veronica and get to experience her...

We just return form here. This B and B is great - mostly because the host is an amazing woman! She is so helpful and an awesome cook for breakfast! Wow! ||Internet worked fine if a little slow at times. ||She has two bedrooms in the basement of her home - each with their own bathroom. There is a common area with a half fridge as well as a room to watch the Tv or read. ||She is located a little out of town - but we liked that because we are both exercisers and did not have to worry about traffic.||All in all - a great place to stay and we have ever intention of returning...
