Husband and I opened up the camper to find two broken water lines that were supposed to be winterized by the owners company who he insists on everyone to use. Well that ship has sailed had another company come out to repair it. They clearly stated they didn’t winterize everything as they should. Maybe an oversight.
Then I find out we have to have a wristband to use the pool and pond and all Guests have to have one. If they don’t then they have to wait until someone else in the group is done so they can use the swimming areas. Like are you serious we pay all this money for what? We are so done with this place the second we get into a new campground we are gone. So if you like living in a HOA on steroids then this is the place to be.
Update have gotten several messages from other friends in the area all are to scared to say anything because they do not want to get kicked out. These owners are a bunch of crooks they have no respect for anyone we are nothing but a pay day to them. Everyone be prepared for a huge rate increase dome heard rumors as much...
Read moreThis place has always been a nice place to ride to, but the owner was being very disrespectful and rude. I don’t know who or what ruined his day, but he definitely did not need to be rude to the people I was with & myself included. 10 minutes prior to him stopping us we gave him our business at his store so he should not of being so disresepctful. Bozarth’s is a PUBLIC place for horse riding and horses should be welcomed there, but in our case they weren’t at all. He eventually started cussing and raising his voice when all we were trying to do was explain to him the trail that led us to his business and the campground next to it. Never was there a sign that said “Private Property” or “Horse’s not welcomed in campground area” so we thought that place welcomed us. After the altercation, he got extremely close to us with his truck that made our horses act up and get very ancy. You would think being a business owner in a horse welcoming area that you would not feel the need to be rude for no reason towards...
Read moreThe owner will strategically raise your rates. We were asked to leave after 3 years under the previous owner because our camper wasn't new enough. It was a 1971 framed into the ground. Despite $1000s spent every summer at the store, they, within their rights, initiated total control by their rules. Read your contract if you sign one, because the owner owns an RV company and will continue to raise rates and terms in a fashion that is not business-like. Park your trailer there, and expect you are powerless. Grounds are nice though, except for the enviornmental nightmare of burning old campers. Plenty of better options. The frame in the picture is where my family and I comfortably and benevolently spent our summers....
