The site was relatively clean. There were quite a few cigarette butts and some glass that tore a hole in our tent. The place was covered with marble spiders in the trees and all over the shelter and wolf spiders on the ground. That wasn't a big deal. Lots of scorpions, tho; to be expected during this time of year, but just giving you fair warning. The shelter is in need of some repairs to the screens, but it's not too bad. The worst part was the fire ants. I swear our site (007) was one giant fire ant mound. That made it kinda difficult for my family (2 children) to enjoy. The water pressure from the spigot was great and I loved having all the electrical outlets. Swimming as the sun came up was wonderful, tho. Definitely needs more bathrooms and some kinda airflow in them. They were dangerously hot. But at least they were clean.

Oh! And the campground is too hard to find! The address they give you in the confirmation email is not right! That was so frustrating. Ugh. There's a turn right before you get to the address they give you with a small sign set back from the road. That's where you turn. And don't bother calling the number listed; nobody will answer.

All in all, I recommend it, but I think better to go late fall or winter when it's cool/cold. The ants and mosquitoes...

For Airport Park Campground outside of Waco TX: Beautiful campground. Our site (75) was immaculate and raked when we arrived. This site had water, electricity AND sewer! Fairly level. We were in a Roadtrek Class B and did not need the leveling blocks. Some sites with trees and shade. Most sites had a covered picnic table. We were here in February so thankful to have a sunny site. Giving it a 4 star because the showers in the bathhouse in this section were unusable:(. Only 2 unlocked and both of those had broken handles and the water was shut off. We had to drive to another shower house, as it was to far away to walk. A pain when already hooked up. Reported to gatekeeper and cleaning crew. They were aware. The working showers in another area were okay, regular knob/handle, hot water, one hook for towel but needed a good cleaning. Verizon service was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again. NOTE: I know I’m a shower fanatic and it shows in my reviews:). Being in a class b we prefer not to use our...

Pamela and I travel full time in our rv and COE rv parks are on very top list. Airport Park is another prove why we prefer COE. This park is simply beautiful 🍀. I am a photographer and Airport Park is great place for landscape photo shootings wit lovely sunsets. We believe ratings are a must and we always make some time for posting reviews. We spent 2 nights in site # 22 and then we moved to site # 25 wor next 2 nights. We usually book as we travel mostly in last minute because we love to go with the flow and never be in rush. Booking in last minute wit COE works for us every time. Many times we manage with little bit of luck to reserve premium sites with unbelievable views like sites 22, 25 and 18 are. Thank you Airport Park and Ashley at the check in window to make our stay very pleasant and stress free. We will...
